Nice historic and centric place specifically in the day. However some dirt, too many people and in the night not that safe I guess. But its history is amazing... Some arqueological remainings like Neros temple Domum aurea, Tiberius baths, close to the Colosseum and Foro Romanum. If you have time its nice to have a walk because its also on a hill where you cam enjoy a green view towards the Colosseo. But you can also just use it to walk to Roma Termini and see some history with different layers from Antiquity till Modernity.

As we walk to the Colosseum from our hotel, navigation took us to this park. Sometimes unexpected route lead you to beautiful journey . We were blown away by the trees, ruins and beauty of this park.
Someone was playing music and locals resting and taking a nap. Children were playing. It was one of the fond memories of Rome.
It leads to the Colosseum which has great view!

Located right in front of the Colosseum, this is the perfect spot to relax while enjoying a stunning view of the monument. If you’re a dog owner, this place is also ideal for a walk with your furry friend. However, I would avoid visiting at night, as it may be unsafe.

The park’s facilities are great, skatepark, basket ball, volleyball, soccer, calesthenics which bring a lot of people together and it is all free. However, the caretakers need to do a better job at telling people to throw their rubbish in the bins. If you go early in the morning when the cleaners have not arrived yet, the volleyball court and skatepark are full of rubbish. Also the calesthenics equipments has been broken for months. There are loads of bins on in the park and they are emptied every day.

Not the best park in the world but surely the best way towards the Colosseum. The trees are great and the ruins are just as old. It may be a little dusty, but it's a city park, so nothing unexpected there. Personally I had just as much fun exploring it as I had for the Colosseum itself.
