In Florence, or other famous cities, I don't trust places way out in the open, with tourists reading the menu and saying "okay." I seek out local gems that are uniquely interesting, not just in their offerings of food, but in their heart and personality and the overall vibe. This was an outstanding dinner, one of the highlights of the week. To start, my wife had an incredible, simple salad of artichoke, lemon and parmesan that I picked at. She followed that up with orecchiette with slightly spicy turnip tops, and I had an incredibly delicious sirloin steak paired with Marco's recommended Montepulciano. Most importantly, after a mere couple of minutes, Marco and Damiano and Irena treated us like friends, even family. I will never forget these beautiful people and the special, love-filled food they made for us. All of it more than fairly-priced, too! Cannot recommend this place enough!!

We stumbled in here for a late lunch when there were only a few people in the restaurant. It took a few minutes but they sat 9 of us, and the next 3 hours were amazing!
Our server warmed up to us after we starting hitting the very good wine list hard and each of us had at least 3 courses. The pastas were so fresh and good, as good as we had in Florence. Several of the dishes were unique to Tuscany and authentic. Desserts were great as well.
Anxious to go back on our trip in May- that good!

Club Culinaro is the only restaurant in Florence we ate at twice. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service was phenomenal. The pasta was literally cooked to perfection and everything was seasoned well. The Tiramisu and Creme Brulee were also delicious. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

I lived in Italy for 2 months and this is some of the best pasta I've had. And the team here is so lovely, friendly, clearly love the food they serve. And they also open at great hours, very convenient.

I first learned about this place from a well-respected chef, who said that this place would be her one perfect meal. And it really does not disappoint. In fact, I plan to revisit often. Truly spectacular.

Delicious home-made pasta, not too big portions so that there is space left for a yummy  dessert. Very friendly staff and excellent price-qualty.
