First time staying here and it was excellent. Great room. Clean and quiet. The location is very convenient. Every floor has a pantry area with free coffee, tea, water, and snacks. Inside the room was a complimentary cloth tote bag and two lollipops. Shower water pressure was intense. Would absolutely stay again!

A Delightful Stay in El Born, Barcelona

I recently stayed at Habana Hoose in Barcelona and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made sure I felt right at home.

The decor is charming and unique, with a Scottish theme that gives the hotel a lovely boutique feel. My room was incredibly comfortable—the bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep, and the rain shower was simply amazing!

One of the highlights was the range of little extras: there were nice freebies in the room, and each floor had a selection of complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks, which was a lovely touch.

The hotel is located in El Born, a quirky and artsy neighbourhood, perfect for anyone wanting to experience the creative side of Barcelona. Overall, Habana Hoose is a fantastic choice for a memorable stay.

The design of the place is really cool, the staff is super friendly and the location is super central.

The downside is the sound isolation of the building. You can hear absolutely everything from the streets and sometimes from the room next doors.

I was there in January where there is not so much tourism in Barcelona so it was acceptable. But that might be different during busier times of the year.

They’ve put Oropax next to the bed and I think that is as much as they can actually do against that. I think it’s just the way that house is build.

Nevertheless we had a wonderful stay and we would absolutely love to come back.

The location is perfect. Right in the Gothic District, steps away from the metro, restaurants and bars. It’s a safe and lively neighbourhood.
Of course if you are a couple, the two single beds, pushed together can be uncomfortable. That is very common in Europe, so it can be look passed.
The decor is well thought out, I loved every detail and the bar connected to the restaurant is beautiful.
I also thought the access to Nespresso and snacks was a nice touch and superior to most hotel coffee makers in the room.
