Jag hade nyligen chansen att besöka Tacy’s, en underjordisk taco-bar belägen i en källare under restaurangen “Symbiosis”. Lokalen är otroligt cool och bidrar till en unik atmosfär, de känns lite som att man är i Mexico på något lokalt hak. Tacy’s är endast drop-in, vilket innebär att det kan vara svårt att få bord, men vi hade turen att knipa ett. Först ut testade jag deras “Special of the Week”, som bestod av en mjuk majs-tortilla fylld med svensk grishuvud, salsa de árbol, lök, koriander, lime och friterat grishuvud. Ärligt talat var jag lite tveksam när jag läste ingredienserna, men jag är verkligen glad att jag vågade prova. Rätten var saftig, smakrik och helt klart en överraskning på ett positivt sätt. Jag ger den en stark 8/10. Jag provade även “Taco de Suadero”, som innehöll svensk brisket tillagad i talg, salsa macha (gjord på jordnötter, pumpafrön, chili och vitlök), lök, koriander och lime. Den va väldigt god och saftig, och salsa var riktigt god med lite sting i. Den får 7/10 För att dela på tog vi också en portion nachos med guacamole. De var väldigt goda, men förbered dig på att de har en rejäl hetta. Sammanfattningsvis levererade Tacy’s en smakupplevelse som både överraskade och imponerade. Om du är sugen på tacos med en twist och inte har något emot lite väntetid för ett bord, är det här ett ställe du definitivt bör besöka. Hela besöket ger jag 8/10 och Rekomenderar starkt!
