Very lovely lunch and people watching Broadway market goers. I was craving some vegetables and the Seasonal Green Salad really hit the spot with grilled veggies, tomato, cucumber, pea shoots, and a bed of snap peas, lightly dressed. Delicious and exactly what I wanted. We also got the Mediterranean eggs which were nice, savory, and perfect with the toast. That Banana Bread though!!! Divine. I wouldn't have thought to order it except someone passing our table just stopped to tell us it was the best thing ever and we needed to try it, so we did. Very glad we did. Potentially best banana bread I've ever had?

This was a lovely cafe, but it closed a few years ago. There is another location in The Broadway Market. I would have given it 5 stars if it were still open!

Had a yummy brunch here after a chocolate class yesterday. We def needed some savouriness and the menu had a lot of great choices. 
I ended up going with the sweetcorn fritters which were served with an abundance of sauces and perfectly-grilled halloumi. We also got some pretty-pretty kumara chips to share - the deep purple even helped me feel like I was getting my anthocyanin fix for the week.
The staff were especially lovely and the decor was super light and welcoming. Would definitely recommend as a sexy addition to the still-grungey Hoxton scene.

Really good brunch experience here today. Cool, minimalist interior with a nice indie soundtrack in the background. I got the corn fritters with a side of the spicy sweet potatoes, my husband got the banana pancakes, my friend the kimchi eggs and her husband the jalapeño scrambled eggs on toast. My fritters were enormous and bloody delicious; not overtly fried so not greasy just chock full of flavour. Ditto with the side of sweet potatoes. I thought my husband's pancakes were bland; they lacked the butter base that would have made them less dry. But again, a great portion. I thought the jalapeño scramble looked a bit bare and the kimchi meh but neither my friend nor her husband complained. My husband said the coffee tasted amazingly good with the addition of some sugar. Anyway, service was friendly if not that attentive. Dog-friendly which was a bonus; there is also a house doggie.
