I was going to suggest that this pub is located in one of the more crafty areas of London, but that is probably not necessarily the case. Still, it was a fairly decent pub, well, decent in the sense that it was open when I arrived, but a little annoying since the beer garden wasn't open. However, I have to say that it certainly wasn't one of the greatest, but it was still a decent pub nonetheless.

Standard pub that's open everyday. If you make the mistake of trying to do the bermondsey beer mile during the week day, Marquis of Wellington may be your saving grace as most of the beer mile / craft beer production places are closed during the week. If you do come on the weekend, Marquise of Wellington is also great because they serve food- ie. PIZZA PIES! Nice vibe with tables available indoor and outdoor, and restroom facilities also available.

We actually ended up here on accident after we tried and failed to find Maltby Market (although we found it again after our break at Marquis!)

Good beer, lots of seating both inside and outside, awesome wifi / places to charge phone - much needed perfect reprieve for a couple of travelers. There's a cute backyard-esque patio area too!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and came here to have a few drinks. The staff was very friendly and Simon even gave us a free round and a glass as a gift.

The drinks were good, the location was mellow, and the place had a good vibe.

I would recommend it to visitors and would definitely come back.

Have been here a couple of times for drinks and was a welcome addition to the area after it was a previously abandoned pub. Came here for the first time for food and was hugely disappointed. The sourdough pizza bases are out of a packet which they keep in the freezer. On this occasion several pizza toppings were also out of stock. It wasn't busy and 4 pizzas took over 30 minutes to arrive to us with no apologies, other than they needed to get more pizza bases out of the fridge. With just one type of food on the menu i would expect it to be pretty good, bht all in all quite a underwhelming experience considering bermondsey high is just round the corner.

Great pizza, cool and comfortable atmosphere, nice selections on tap!  Definitely hope to make a return visit before this visit to London is done.

Ok pub, too expensive for what it offers but most of our visits here were friendly except this one time. This guy claimed to be the owner of the pub and was very rude and aggressive to us, including his friends that sat at our table without even asking and threw my lighter on the floor because I dared to ask them to be polite. Teenage old men with no manners and if this guy is really the owner he should be ashamed of his behavior.
