I stopped by for a team breakfast and had high hopes but the reality fell short.

The chocolate muffin was bland as were the crumpets and lime marmalade (no variety of toppings). Our party ordered eggs and meat but that was forgotten during service then only brought over once we asked for the check. 

This place has a lovely ambiance and decor but I would have preferred the food to be the highlight of my visit.

My sister and I stumbled upon The Folly mid-stroll during our most recent London visit. The interior is gorgeous! I would honestly recommend stopping by just for a drink to admire the decor. And you have to check out the bathroom... downstairs looks like it would be a good time later in the evening.

I wasn't too terribly hungry so I went with the plant-based Mezze Board (~18 pounds)... which ended up being rather large and filling. My board included a tomato cucumber salad with red onion + balsamic drizzle, vegan mozzarella topped with pesto, eggplant dip, hummus, spinach artichoke dip, harissa?? (dark red dip), and flatbread of some sort. The tomato and cucumber salad was the best part, and I enjoyed the pesto mozzarella combo, although it was a lot for one person. All the dips were rather oily and lacked flavor/seasoning. Salt, freshly cracked pepper and fresh lemon would have benefited them all. The flatbread was ehh, okay. My sister seemed to enjoy her quinoa grain bowl topped with avocado, green beans, edamame? and greens. I would have preferred this dish if my stomach could handle quinoa! I do appreciate that they offer several vegetarian and plant-based options.

I'm sure several of the menu items are tasty, you just have to choose wisely.

Service was alright. We were super thirsty and the water glasses hold like a half cup water, so that was not ideal. The tables are also rather close together in the section where we were seated, despite the spacious interior.

Several tables were occupied during the late lunch hour, although there was a lot of room to spare in the large space.

The beautiful ambiance drew us to the restaurant but the wrong meal was brought out and it was almost cold. Unfortunately, we would not recommend.

I was visiting from out of the country. The bartender barely wanted to even acknowledge me but drinks were good. Atmosphere was really cool but customer service is what's most important to me.

Came two days ago for dinner, they close pretty early, I arrived 30min before the kitchen close at 6pm. There's no host greet you and all the people work there except one waiter they all try to ignore you. 

Food: chicken is over cooked and seafood risotto: seafood not fresh, and too salty 

The two stars for the furnish, the restaurant is pretty.

Great burgers. Light alcoholic drinks. Gets very busy during lunch hours.  So be patient. Very tropical vibes and garden like decor.

Wonderful brunch spot!   Absolutely loved all the decor. Nice long cocktail menu. I loved my drink. It was Pink and floral and perfect for summer.  We really enjoyed the arancini. They were fried to perfect but soft and flavorful inside. The halloumi sticks were excellent with a nice sauce. The Roman fries had perfect truffle with out being too much.   The cornbread was nice but as an American southerner (very familiar with cornbread) it lacked a little flavor. But it had very nice avocado on top with radish and peppers. I would happily return to try more things in the menu. I saw lots of things we wanted to try. Great location near Sky Garden and the monument!   Not too far from the tower of London and tower Bridge.

I was visiting London for the weekend, and decided to meet some friends for dinner and drinks at The Folly. 
Before we got there, we were sent an email in order to pre-order our meal choices. I got the chorizo eggs, just because I've never heard of that before. I have to admit the decor and layout of the restaurant was very nice. They played awesome music that made me want to go dancing! Which is rare, but, hey- I was on vacation!! Food came, all 10 of us were happy with our choices, I also got the fish and chips- they were on the bland side, but, it was still acceptable.
Once I finished my food we were all talking and drinking really good wine, but I wanted to wash my hands so I went downstairs to the restrooms.     ......Lo AND BEHOLD!!!! Downstairs is a CLUB!!! What?!?!?  I had no idea!!! And they played bangin music!! Drinks were relatively priced, nothing too pricey. Everyone was up dancing! It was an absolutely awesome discovery!!

Nice restaurant with a really beautiful decor. We came at the most crowded hour so it was a bit noisy. The dishes were nice and tasty and well presented. 

Restaurant sympathique avec un très beau décor. Nous y sommes allés à l'heure de pointe donc c'était un peu bruyant. Les plats étaient bons et joliment présentés.
