Small, quaint spot with delicious breakfast pastries and drinks. You have to get there early- they ran out of chai and most items to eat by 9am.

Coffee was great, pastries and lemon cake were delicious. The staff saw that I was traveling with two young children and gave them both a hot chocolate over ice for the hot day. Stop by this little spot and grab a cup.

Well, well, well -- what have we here!? 

I am not sure how I've gone so long without tripping on Nepa Cafe, it's literally in my backyard pretty much. 

Most likely because it flies a bit under the radar -- Corsham Street feels more like an alley than a real "street" and also it's dwarfed by the massive building construction taking place right now across the street (student accommodation - yay, no). There also isn't huge signage or anything screaming "COFFEE!" -- just a small chalkboard sign outside with a few tables and chairs. 

And this is what makes it so nice. Unassuming, sweet and a really nice little shop to have a coffee and cake, or some really nice wraps and sandwiches at lunchtime. It's truly the definition of "hidden gem" -- right? Yes. 

I made a mental note to change my morning coffee routine (sorry, Igor!) for a minute, and swung by today. I was greeted warmly, served up a gorgeous flat white swiftly as the owner made pleasant small talk, greeted my son, and then we were on our way. 

So pleasant. I will definitely be back. If you're staying or studying nearby, need a coffee...add this to your rotation. 

And in the meantime, Nepa can be added to "Old Street Coffee without the Snobbery" -- ding ding ding, zing.

Delicious latte made with almond milk!  A darling little spot with good treats to enjoy with coffee.  Warm and welcoming staff...makes me want to go back again and again!

This place is excelllent the brownies and the sourdough breakfast sandwich is a must. Coffee is great and it is reasonably priced.
