Australian cafe serves breakfast / brunch food - went to the Marylebone location which was more spacious and better decorated to be honest. 

My friend had tried almost everything on the menu before and it's all amazing. We ended up getting:

Bit of Everything Plate ($14 - favorite), Veggie Egg Plate ($14), Tortilla ($16). For the plates, there was a lot of bread and we couldn't finish it all. Really thick pieces of sourdough.

We also got drinks - Salted Vanilla Cream Matcha & Salted Vanilla Cream Iced Coffee. Both were super special, creamy, and sweet. 

Staff was super friendly and attentive - food came slow but it's a great cafe to sit in and vibe.

This was a pleasant restaurant with a cute outdoor area. I got huevos divociados and it was very delicious, served with toast. I also got a latte. Service was great and our server was very kind.

Recent opening for an Australian based breakfast / brunch cafe. Staff was very unfriendly and seemed judgey. However, the staff treatment was worth it when the food was as good as it was! I've been eager to recreate this meal! So unique and simple. The hunk of bread, to cured meats, the straciatella with hot honey and side of sport peppers were great.

Food was beyond amazing.  The service was fine.  Drinks need some attention, but the food really is to die for.

I went to brunch with my family, and the food was so good, fresh, and beautifully presented. We cleared the plate on everything we ordered. 
The staff had a wonderful attitude, and was very kind. Highly recommend.

We got the fig toast, banana bread, and smashing pumpkins. Delicious, healthy food but they were missing their morning shipment of groceries so they had to substitute out a lot of ingredients and it was slightly off. Still an adorable shop worth coming back to.

Abuelo has good coffee, no doubt about that, but is it really worth the arrogance and the attitude? I don't think so. Unacceptable service and mediocre food: you are mega failing your customers in 2/3 FYI
Also - when you have no tables you should show your customers where to wait WITH A SMILE and also keep an eye on them once a table becomes available. Also, get your facts straight before you start accusing your customers for all sorts of rudeness to cover your inability to offer a good service. I am glad other people also call out the appalling attitude. Great jawb Abuelo!

NOTE: Stop lying and accusing me of having grabbed your staff by the arm! It is totally unacceptable. The waitress was not in tears like you said in another review. This is too much and it makes you look so bad. 
A PIECE OF ADVICE: Accept you offer a bad service and then try and learn from all these reviews and improve. It is the ONLY way.

I was so excited to have the Smashing Pumpkins, but alas they were sold out. Settled on the Green Pea Fritter as recommended by the server. 

Food took awhile, as I imagine the kitchen was backed up. Wish they mentioned a small nibble to tide us over. 

So you can imagine my disappointment when I saw how SMALL the dish was. And bland. The pea fritter had a good dense consistency. But otherwise it was pretty much just another take on an over priced avocado toast. 

It was super busy with a good lively energy. But it was very cramped. Hard to maneuver and get around. Forget about going to the bathroom... There's 1 and you'll have to shimmy behind the coffee barista.

Came here just because the pictures of fig toast was pretty but wasn't expecting it to be so delicious as well. The avocado toast was just as good, egg could have been poached a little better but no matter, it was a great brunch. Got there pretty early so we got sat right away but as soon as we ordered, saw it filling up pretty fast. Staff is friendly and chill, they don't rush you out even when there's a long wait.

It was a cold and rainy day, so it was fully booked inside. We were seated outside which was fine because the canopy had great covering, heaters and blankets. Very thoughtful. The service was great despite the poor staff having to run in and out. My mocha was delicious, not overly sweet which was appreciated. I had the bondi and my husband had the big dippers. His tomato soup was delicious and seasoned nicely. My Bondi, basically avocado toast, was fabulous as well. I recommend with the poached egg. The yolk had a beautiful orange coloring and was perfectly poached, an "egg-cellent" start to the breakfast. Quite a bit of avocado is included. I loved the peppers, goat cheese and seeds that were atop of the toast as well. Better than any avocado toast I've had previously. I would highly recommend here for breakfast and would definitely come back if in covent garden!
