Tapas style afternoon tea (17:00) was a treat. The bar is richly decorated with a lovely ambience yet comfortable.

The savory tapas were interesting and delectable albeit with some hit and miss. The Spaniard (Baguette with mozzarella, iberico ham and black olive tapenade) was smashing. Desserts on the sweet tray unique and very delicious (Dessert shot glass, Mini  Banoffee pie).

Service was friendly and unpretentious.

An amazing and affordable afternoon tea experience! 

This place is so chic and swank and cool without being pretentious or stuffy- the interior is lush and cozy and the staff are so kind. We were so well taken care of by Melissa, and I also spoke to Charlotte on the phone. Everyone was so kind and made my birthday tea really special. 

The tapas were lovely and they accommodated our veggie folk too. The cocktails were really good as well.

A lovely little cocktail bar on Kingsland Road that's clearly doing something right as it's never empty when I go in, regardless of what day of the week it is.

There is a cocktail menu but when it's not too busy Ricardo (the very friendly owner of the place) will ask what spirits you like or flavours you're in the mood for and concoct something accordingly. Some of the drinks I've found more to taste than others but they are all expertly crafted and it's great to try some unusual cocktails that I wouldn't necessarily have picked if they were just listed on a menu.

Decor is also really nice and gives the place a cozy and intimate feel. We usually sit by the bar on one of the bar stools, but there are also a couple of tables at the back and a few outdoor seats which are nice on a summers evening.

Price wise it's not cheap, but then it is a very good cocktail bar in central London so I guess that's to be expected!
