This place is SO GOOD! We always hope to support little local restaurants which has sometimes been hard when the execution doesn't turn out well. This place is just so good though. The pupusas are the perfect dough to meet ratio, the chicken enchiladas were fresh and delicious, and my favorite, the chicken tostada was sooo yummy, light, and refreshing. I will be back (probably way too much).

10/10. The food comes out so fresh and hot--but not insanely hot. The tortilla on the pupusa is thin and crispy and it was jam packed with cheese and shredded chicken. Loved both the red and green salsa--the green has a little kick but nothing too spicy. We also ordered the Pepian, which the waitress told us was a Guatemalan staple. It was so good; it reminded me of an Indian curry, but the taste of the spices is lighter. It comes with three tortillas that are made in house. They're thicker tortillas and it went great with the Pepian. We'll be coming back to try the breakfast!! The ladies working here were also suuuuper nice, so go support this restaurant!

The food here is so wonderful! Atitlan offers authentic Guatemalan food. The execution of their dishes is incredible. we love having this restaurant so close to us in Lincoln Square/Ravenswood. I highly recommend their caldo de gallina (hen soup), and the rellenitos, a dessert like no other.
