Love the crowd, love the music, love the drinks but I absolutely hate the neighborhood. I wish I could pick this place up and put it in a better neighborhood. The crowd is older 30+ (which means minimal problems). I stop through regularly and never had any problems. This is a place you come to, to have a drink after work and talk a little sh*t.

I love this lounge!! Drinks are strong and reasonably priced. The people are friendly and mature. The music is mostly blues and oldies. You feel comfortable right away and if you're cool, the regulars reach out and make you feel at home. Pool table is only a dollar! The table gets hot after 5p. Great place!

This place is a true gem. There are a lot of regulars, so if you're new they make sure to treat you right! Everyone is warm and it'd clear that everyone wants to be there. (Unfortunately whenever I've been to places like Kingston Mines there's been a bit of disinterest from the performers and the crowd can be a bit obnoxious.) It's a tiny club, and the music is loud, but the band is tight and full of energy and the singers are full of soul and charm. I saw Mz Peachez, who plays every Monday night followed by several regulars. If you like live music then you should definitely make the drive.

Nice neighborhood spot with good people, regulars who are welcoming to new people. The owner is cool and his staff are all nice. I've never seen a problem at this place, the drinks and music are great. Tuesday and Wednesday's $1.00 cans of beer can't be beat. I'm glad I randomly stopped in this place a couple years ago, been going ever since.
