We came here for dinner and we loved the food!  I ordered the DAC BIET 55/PP because I wanted the lemongrass beef skewers with a bunch of small dishes; loved the flavors and presentation.  My friend had the chicken pho and the broth was so good.

The location is super easy to get to, just a 2 min walk from the Morgan stop and a minute walk to Moondog HiFi.

The only thing I want to address is the noise level is unbearable.  This is an ongoing issue for NYC restaurants and no one seems to care.

Restaurant owners, please take that into consideration when you design your next restaurant.

I visited here because of attracting attention through several platforms.

Most of the dishes on the menu were unique, so it took longer than usual to hear the detailed menu explanation from the staff and think about what to choose.

Around the time of choosing the menu to order and requesting an order, an employee approached and was informed that there was a 90-minute regulation after sitting, so after 90 minutes of reservation time, if a reservation person came, we would have to give up their seats.

Immediately after we getting the 90-minute regulation explanation, the beverage staff(a tall Asian man) approached the table and explained the 90-minute meal rule guide once again, saying, "You've already spent more than 30 minutes choosing the menu to order."

I didn't feel good when I heard this comment, but since it was my first time visiting the restaurant, I decided to have a good time while eating a new menu.

The food I ordered was not tasty enough to meet the expectations, but it tasted above average.

It took a little more than 90 minutes to finish the meal, but there was no rush to leave the table due to the enough of seats in the later hours. However, the employee(a tall Asian man) took charge of the payment and processed the calculation process with the Toast device at the table. After entering the tip, additional time was needed to receive the receipt by e-mail, but the employee said, "There is no need to leave a separate review," and tried to take the device in a hurry even though the input was not finished.

Usually, I go into the restaurant's SNS account to look at the employee who received a good impression, but this time, I looked through all the restaurant's Instagram account posts because I was curious about who the employee was curtly responding to customers. It seems that he has been working at a restaurant for a long time, but I was curious if he had been working that way before.

This restaurant's first visit is likely to be the last.

I’ve been intrigued by this spot for a while for its claim to meld Vietnamese and Mexican cuisines, and overall it’s a winning combination. The space is nice and chill and service was friendly. And while some dishes were better than others, I was impressed with the dishes and the synergies between the two cuisines. The result was flavor combinations that were new but made a lot of sense and just popped. Standouts included a tostada with fresh seafood that you topped with fish sauce and Birds Eye chile and a congee with corn and duck confit. If I had one issue, it would be our decision to go with the tasting menu. We were taken in by the fact that it was comprised of dishes not on the regular menu and we might get to sample more. But in retrospect, we hadn’t tried the regular menu so anything would’ve been new to us, and the dishes on the tasting menu are normal size so you don’t really get to try more. And compared to the regular menu it’s not a great value. The one nice thing though was the wine pairing, which they do offer in both 3 and 5 glass options. We went with the 3 and found the selections to be well matched and good value. So all in all, a conditional 5 stars but I do look forward to returning and trying the regular menu - especially the duck neck which sounds amazing.

Firstly, the space is so cozy and inviting; it feels like your cool best friend's living room. We started with a beer from Grimm ($9) and glass of wine ($15). The food was absolutely amazing; Dad's Fried Rice ($24) had the perfect chewy texture and was loaded with meat. The Blazed and Glazed ($28) pork shoulder came with a delicious salsa verde that I could not get enough of. The prices seem higher, but there's more food than it seems and we were absolutely stuffed. Every person on the staff, from the host to our server, was so attentive and friendly.
