The happy hour was great: two drinks for the price of one. We got the pony passion, which was very fruity and sweet. The other drink was very good. The place had very limited seating, and smoking is allowed. Their music was great but unfortunately there's no dance floor.

Came here with my girlfriend for a fun night out. We just made it in time for their drink special deal which was a discounted price for 2 drinks. Drinks specials were gin-based. A couple of them are fruity but they were strong and tasted good. The space is divided into 2 floors. Upstairs is more spacious and had more seating. I think you must be able to reserve a table because we were politely asked to vacate a table for other guests. Crowd is young. Not too much room for dancing. It got full around 1am. Overall good time. Maybe a good spot for you to start your night as there are more clubs and bars nearby.

My sister is getting married in Denmark and as big sister and maid of honor, I was in charge of organizing the bachelorette party. It was quite a challenge in a different country, but Danish fellow-Yelpers advised me a few places of which Francis Pony was one. Was I (and the whole group, including my sister) happy we went to Francis Pony! Michelle, the general manager, who I contacted to inform about a private area, was just amazing in thinking in solutions. She made some exceptions and took initiative that meant a lot to us and added to making the night a succes and the bride-to-be a very happy lady! I expected upfront that we would visit quite some bars that evening, but we actually had such a good time at Francis Pony that we stayed there for most of the night. The atmosphere was really chill, the bartenders were friendly and quick, the music was good, we had a nice lounge seat to fit our whole group (thanks to Michelle), enough people to make it crowded in a good way, but not too full that it would be uncomfortable. Also the crowd that visited Francis Pony, that we encountered that evening, were very nice and open. It was possible to dance (we did at some point), although most people there didn't go for that. Let me think of some flaws, before I don't sound credible anymore ;) .... Well if I have to say SOMETHING then maybe that there is just one toilet for the ladies, but I never had to wait, so I wouldn't consider it a con myself. Keep in consideration that we just visited the upstairs, so anything I've said goes for there. When the upstairs is open, I can recommend this as a place to chill with your friends and shake your shimmy on the floor when you get tired of that :)

I really love this place. Second night in a row here. Cocktails are buy one get one until midnight and they are all delicious. They also sell handmade liquor, 10 shots for 150 Kroner. The blueberry and lychee is so delicious!

I was a little torn between 3 or 4 stars. 4: because the place is great ! Really nice cocktails for cheap money, it is centrally located in Cph city and angry doormen sorting people on looks and behavior. 3: you are allowed to smoke, big bommer ! But then again, actually, most people go outside to smoke, event during the nice cold winters of Denmark. Secondly, there are way to few bartenders in the two bars, resulting in very long lines - kind of understandable with those prices. In the end I'm sticking to my 4 stars, after all I keep returning again and again :)

Drinks are good here especially when you come at happy hour and get two for one. Good priced cocktails always taste better! The atmosphere is very varying. I have been on nights when I thought it was nice with good music and not too many people but I have also been at times when it is full of people, average music and a queue for everything. On the plus side you don't pay entrance (unless it's winter and you need to pay for your coat) so you can just pop in and check the place out. Its strategical location close to the Jane and Strøm bar makes it easier to switch to another place if the atmosphere is not on the winning side. There are two floors and the most chill is downstairs. Upstairs there is more room to dance and more area to sit down. Both floors have a bar and toilets, but the garderobe is at the back of the second floor. I usually try to find a place downstairs as I like it more chill. Plus the cold blueish lighting upstairs is not of my taste. All in all it is an average bar with ok cocktails and a mixed crowd from 20 to 30 year olds (average probably somewhere in the middle). If you want to start the night with cheap cocktails go for the happy hour (Wednesdays all night, Thursdays-Saturdays till midnight).

Such a great bar in the centre of Copenhagen. A favorite among our friends as a place to grab cocktails midweek and on the weekend. Great music and a cozy atmosphere. Ginger shots are delicious (and feel healthy) and the moijitos are delicious! Have also tried the gin cocktails. They have 2 for 1 cocktails (80dkk) - definitely make the most of it!

I love Francis Pony. Both guests and staff are always having a great time together. The cocktails are so good - and the blueberry shots! It's not pricey at all. There is usually a good crowd in there, so there is missing some seatings - but who wants to sit when they can dance!?

Really nice cocktail bar in the center of Copenhagen! Been there a few times and its always a good place to start the night. The bartenders really know what they're doing and literally everything on the drink menu is fantastic (I got the Zombie, highly recommended). Good service and polite bartenders. Great place to hang out with friends and mingle with the locals. I've never met anyone in there who was less than welcoming. Overall top-notch cocktails and a great vibe. Protip: Wednesday is two for one cocktails! Always awesome

It can get very crowded. The best night is when they are having cocktails 2 for 1. Its a good place to start off the night or drinking on a Tuesday. 2 years ago it was cheap and the cocktails were strong! Skål!
