violent, disrespectful, unaccommodating rude female bouncer literally shoved me to the floor despite my staying more than six feet away from her. she literally forced my knees to buckle. rude and unwelcoming experience for queer people and women. the music was mediocre and the drinks were weak.

place is so insanely crowded you can't even move or dance. honestly most underwhelming club i've ever been to and not worth paying the cover. most of the people in the club are 18 years old and the music is also not good. one of the workers with black straight hair and a big nose was so rude and couldn't keep her grimy hands off the people in the club. she was pushy and created a revolting atmosphere.

Hive is not cheap but it IS fun. The cover charge is 100 kr which is rough but it's Copenhagen so it's also standard. The music is really upbeat, fun, and a nice mix of genres like edm, hip hop, and pop throwbacks. The strobe lights are expertly done and at like 2:30ish on the bottom floor there's a confetti explosion when a beat drops and it's siiiiiiiick! I was unaware that there were other floors but def explore this place if you go because the floor I was on consisted of a very small dance floor surrounded by a bunch of people with tables. If you don't have a table you'll feel very left out on this floor.

I freaking love this place. Out of all the clubs that I have been to in Copenhagen, Hive is one of the very best. There's a 100kr cover for Fridays and Saturdays, and on Thursdays the place turns into Enzo and charges 150 kr cover (since it's 18+ I guess). The line gets pretty long the later on in the night it gets, fair warning. Also, the bouncers will ID you so make sure you're 21+ or you'll get turned away if the bouncer is strict. There's a coat check (not sure of the cost) as well. The DJ is usually on point, and the club is a good size--not too large, not too small, with an upstairs area that houses the bar. The bar is pretty expensive however, so make sure you adequately pregame (I'm talking 75-95 kr for a drink I believe) People here tend to be more locals than foreigners which is prime if that's what you're looking for. There's definitely a more upscale, snobby vibe here but it's not as bad as it could be at other, nicer clubs. And the upside of that is that the place isn't super ratchet or sketchy. Anyway if you're just visiting Copenhagen or are looking for somewhere new to go, definitely check out Hive, you won't be disappointed!

Been there twice, both on special event for international people. It's a nice club overall, but I can't say that is the best (as I've been told by others). Normally entrance is 100kr (less or free for some events), and coat check-in is 25kr. People complain is prissy, but come on people... it's a club, not your local pub! I found prices very satisfactory. At the bottom floor, once you leave your jacket there is a corridor with side-tables where is more quiet and cosy that leads to the bar. And right after the bar is the dance floor. I expected it would be bigger, but is yet ok. DJ deck is at the corder and VIP tables on the sides. At the back, there is a smaller bar and the smoking "cave". At the upper floor, there is also a small bar, a smaller dance floor, couple of tables and a patio outside where you can smoke and socialize. The music is different and instead the trancie bits of the big stage, another DJ plays hip-hop. I would give it 4 stars, but I know I had the great time because of my friends and not the place itself. Maybe I should go on a normal weekend to experience the real deal of it.

Hive, sweet Hive. This is the place where some of the best parties in Copenhagen happen. Hive is two-levels, with the main stage on the bottom floor. The smaller area is upstairs, but the sounds are never mixed so you can enjoy the DJs. There are plenty of bars in the club, so you rarely have to wait to get a drink. The prices are "high", but remember that this is a nightclub and not a bodega. You want cheap, don't go to Hive. Most of the people are young, but I'm 43 and still fit in. Dress yourself to be worthy: this isn't the place to go to if you're in old trainers and jeans. They won't even let you get in dressed like that. The women's restroom (important!) is quite large, and there are benches to sit on while waiting. And lots of mirrors. There's also a "veninde toilet" so that you can chat to your friend at the same time. The girls behind the coat check are so sweet and very efficient. If you are up for it, order a table. Depending on how much you pay, you can get free entrance and some bottles, too. The hostesses are really nice and attentive, and it's just soo nice to be able to sit down after dancing. The DJs at Hive are EXCELLENT! There's nothing better than a night dancing to Fat Pony. Blondish, Morten Breum and others have played here. I danced so hard to Pegboard Nerds that I fell off the stage twice! Hive is just awesome

I had a very good time while I was in Copenhagen but my night was even better when I stopped into Hive! The difference between American night clubs and European nightclubs is that everyone doesn't care about who you know and what you have... They are just there to have fun. I love this place and will visit again when I come back to Denmark!

/I'm foreign/ My man and I walked in without waiting, np. Vodka soda is 70kr each at one bar -- but the bartender at the bar by the smoking pit tried to rip us off - he charged us 60 kr more.... When I confronted him he said he didn't hear my order and threw out the (correct) drinks and instead filled our cups with a SPLASH of liquor and all soda. Wow, so rude. Avoid the super blonde dude. Do yourself a favor and drink on your way here (we didn't, and regretted that). Everyone's doing it :) Anyone over 25 sticks out like a sore thumb... and everyone's good looking. Just avoid that a-hole bartender :)
