Great resort, which has invested properly in new lifts over the years. The lift staff are generally very helpful and friendly and the pass-buying process has been improved substantially with the app now functioning properly. The shuttle bus is very effective at facilitating movement around the resort.

Many intermediates and all beginners ought to avoid skiing down into the centre or la Daille at the end of the day (take the lifts down, instead) because the slopes are relatively challenging, particularly at the end of the day. Beware when skiing the bottom half of la Face (Stade Olympique) that it is iced at the beginning of the season for racing, and the ice will poke through from time to time.

There's a wide range of non-skiing activities, such as snow-shoeing, swimming and walking.

Be prepared for the expensive restaurants and bars!

So, we paid the full ski pass for tignes and val d isere, the area to ski is huge, they tell you theres a free bus service connecting the moutains, so we ended up at 430pm tired coming down and decides to use this bus service to go back to the hotel, you think the have buses runnimg every 10 minutes, well, its 1645, we are tired
And cold and the next bus is at 1730 back
To Val d’ Isere, of course we will miss our reservation at the restaurant and so on. For sure we are not coming back to this ski resort.

Amazing place for a skiing break, beautiful slopes for all skill levels and plenty of lifts and access to move around. Nightlife and restaurants are also very good, not the cheapest by any means of course, but the place is amazing

As a first time skier, I thoroughly enjoyed this resort. The nursery slopes are great to start on and there are enough green slopes to not get bored. I would mention that the classification of slopes can be a bit off so always check with someone if you're not sure.
Too top it all off, the landscape is fabulous!

Amazing place for skiing coz of the facilities available. Lots of shops and restaurants around with loads of bars as well. There is also a free bus service to take you around the area which is very handy. Mostly the scenes around here are just magnificent. Accommodations are in the heart of the mountain range so you're surrounded by snow clad mountains on all sides
