Came by for dinner the other night and it was a hot and sweaty experience. Managed to grab a table upon arrival and noticed that the A/C wasn't on and merely the doors were open during the heatwave...

The front of the house staff appeared to be speaking Mandarin amongst themselves and French/English with customers.

Opted for the combo and started off with the chicken fried egg rolls which were quite tasty as they were made with rice paper. These were lightly fried and had plenty of lettuce.

Moved on to the main course with the grilled beef over vermicelli and it was lackluster. The grilled beef was cooked well and the meat was tender. However, the marinade was on the lighter side and the fish sauce was pretty weak.

The combo also included a canned beverage which was ok.

Asia Bo Bun has some of the best Vietnamese food anywhere in the world. That includes Saigon!

The pork bun bowl has vegetables, pickled vegetables, egg roll and lean pork. It is juicy and perfectly seasoned!

Great food and attentive service. Found this place on this little alleyway full of small restaurants and bars and it was just a short walk from our hotel.

Came on a weekday night and we were seated right away. Got the fried spring rolls and those were excellent. Then tried the Pho and the rice plate with grilled pork and chicken. Again top notch. Now the flavors are not typical Vietnamese that I'm used to, it is a bit more "refined" and even the fish sauce by itself is on the milder side. I am from San Jose CA, which has a large Vietnamese population and lots of Vietnamese restaurants. 

The iced coffee was alright, a bit on the chicory side.

Overall great find for Pho or rice plates on a winter's night.

Highly recommend Asia Bo Bun. Great location next to Bastille. Clean place with terrific food. I was so tired and hungry after a long day and saw this recommended online. I speak basically no French and everyone was very nice to me and gave me attention and good service. The place is very inexpensive and you get a lot for your money. Got some excellent beef pho. Truly hit the spot and probably one of my top pho ever. So big I couldn't finish it. This is worth a walk out of your way!

The Vietnamese food here is so amazing!!! Highly highly recommend.  I had the vegetarian bun which is over a bed of noodles.  Not sure why the title is what it is but soooooo good.

Service is very nice, we go here every time we are in Paris.

Great Vietnamese food! I had the spicy beef pho and spring rolls and it was just like eating it in Vietnam! The food was all so fresh and delicious! It even had the small details (like the chopsticks and utensils in a container on the table) that made it authentic!

The service is a little slow but only by American standards. It is laid back and no one rushes you, as is the European custom. It has a nice atmosphere for just relaxing. 

If you find yourself in Bastille, and are craving some Vietnamese food, it's a must go. In fact, If you're anywhere in Paris, it's worth the short trip! I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! I have had 2 dishes here so far: the vegan pho and the chicken skewers. Both are delicious! The vegan pho has the most flavorful broth and the fried tofu is devine. The chicken skewers are so juicy and flavorful, some of the best chicken I have ever had! The workers at Asia Bo-Bun are super friendly. This place is so great,  I 100% recommend!
