Not the first name I would have picked for a restaurant, but it's got decently priced eats and drinks with attractive waitstaff.  Packed with locals and very much a place to stay and chat all night if you want, though the seating isn't comfortable enough for that :-)

Perfect spot for a good fare and excellent service. The vibe is local cool and relaxed but the food and service is serious. The warm spring salad was Devine followed by a rare steak frites. The meat and the preparation was near perfect with a wonderful piece of beef floating toward me. Just wow. Happy hour made the beers more tasty. Will return. For sure. Whoops ordered the crepe brûlée. I'm staying

This is a really fresh pub with great food and atmosphere! The beer selection is top notch and the servers are friendly and helpful. Our bartender took our order and spoke little English but literally pulled the chalkboard menu over to our table and patiently described each dish to the best of his ability. we ended up with the charcuterie board which was the best we'd had in Paris-fresh meats and soft, aromatic cheeses with perfect accouterments and that whipped mustard with fat belgium style fries! Very hip place for tapas or dinner with a reasonably priced beer.

My sober (10 years sober) husband ordered a sparkling water and apparently she heard Stella. Poured him a Stella, and grabbed him the water, and left the beer on the bar top.. at the very end when we went to close out, and the beer was still sitting where she left it, we realized what had happened. We tried to explain the miscommunication/language barrier but she didn't care. Charged us anyway. I guess we're just stupid Americans that don't understand...

This place is a local bar/restaurant that appears to have many local visitors. The interior is very neat and simple but there is definitely its own character to it. I visited around 9pm on a Thursday and seated myself at the bar, and the bartender, who also waits tables, offered me the menu and took my order. He was very friendly and spoke English, which is a super plus. Just a side note, most people in the service industry seem to be open to speaking English with tourist contrary to the popular belief.

I ordered a duck breast, and the bartender offered me if I was interested in switching the side menus (salad and fried) to a gratin, which is French style oven-cooked potatoes. So i got duck and gratin, both of which are very French. At least I think so.

The duck was okay, I would give about 3.5 stars for it. However, the potatoes were AMAZING. I am a potatoes mania and it met my quite picky standard. The meal cane with some French baguette which was a nice addition to the meal.

The music was instrumental but i didnt recognize what it was. The place felt pretty hip thanks to it.

You should expect crowded spacing which seems to be a norm in Paris. A little better than New York as a comparison.

I would visit again just because the waiter was so friendly. Highly recommended.

I ordered the duck confit with whipped potatoes but received chicken instead. When I asked informed the waiter, he apologized and had the cook complete my  order. Besides this mix-up, everything was great.

My friends and I came from California and spent a week in Paris. This place was across the street from our AirBnB apartment and became our regular go-to on the first night in town. The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious, but they don't compare to the service! Our bartenders, Maryetou and Lyes, despite knowing little English, were incredibly helpful and friendly!! I cannot write enough good things about them! They were our much-needed friendly faces at the end of some very long days of exploring.

Food is great, very reasonably priced, wait staff is friendly and attentive, and speak pretty good English...had what I'd call Shepard's Pie without peas with a small salid for 10 Euros...very tasty and served quickly.  Will return.
