Fantastic food with very gentle and polite people serving it in the restaurant. If you don't speak french then don't worry as they will help you in english. I am a vegetarian and they really served me very well by accommodating some special and very delicious meals for me. Do pay attention that they might not have a 5 course vegetarian meal option but then you have a 3 course meal option too. In my case they happily served me a 5 course vegetarian meal with a repeat of specific meal I requested. The food is top quality and very flavorful. As an Indian, my tastebuds are strongly developed for different flavors and the chef here did an amazing job to get these different flavors in the food. Specially the chef, she is young but she seems to have a very rich culinary knowledge. Thanks a lot for the service. I am including some pictures of the food from today.

Each bite is exquisite and so thoughtfully crafted with intention and love! Can't recommend this enough. Maybe the best eggplant and potatoes I have ever had in my life. Excellent wine pairing.

My only feedback would be to make a 5 course vegetarian option because I could have eaten more of the same thing.

Located on the most charming block of the 20th Arrondissement, Restaurant Sardanac has been getting a great deal of praise from respected critics, and thus a visit was a must.

The tiny space, with maybe six tables, is decorated with simplicity, except for the fantastical wallpaper by Christian LaCroix covering one entire wall. Menus show a choice of a 3 or 4 course blind tasting menu at lunch. We naturally chose 4 courses at 37 Euros.

Sardanac’s kitchen is very innovative and creative, and the food shows culinary artistry.  The chef (s) must love what they do, because their dishes took a lot of time and effort.

Sautéed Jerusalem Artichoke was surrounded by a powerful peanut sauce and foamed potato.  It was a fascinating and many layered dish.  Black Mullet was tempered with tangerine and sautéed chicken breast was accompanied by a separate dish of chicken ravioli in broth scooped up with a spoon. This was a lot of food, finalized with a scrumptious lemon tart for dessert.  Service was kind and very patient with me.  I did think the wine prices were a bit high, and thus we stuck to Sardanac’s glass selection.

Our final bill came to 119 Euros.  I thought that very fair for such innovative food.

An exceptional restaurant to have a celebration with friends for my 60th birthday.  The food was amazing, the wines perfect and the staff highly professional, warm and welcoming to 4 Australians that speak no French! I would highly recommend Sadarnac.
