I had to unfortunately update my review. I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened in Dublin. I have had some incredible meals in the early days. The chipper in particular was incredible. Unfortunately my last two visits have been very disappointing. I did the ten course menu and it was long winded and not that great. The last meal I had recently will be my last. The Sunday roast was dreadful and lacking in substance.  Overall there was very little food on the plates. I hope the place can make a comeback.

I wasn’t impressed. I visited Six by Nico and had their The Italian Roadtrip menu. The dishes were more than average, with two being absolutely terrible—almost inedible. The meat was tough and chewy. Portions were extremely, extremely small. Each dish was served by a different waiter, but it was impossible to hear them explain the meal because the restaurant was so loud. I highly doubt I would repeat this experience.

Had a combined birthday party there. The set menu was delicious and the team gave a lot of thoughts to match dish names/ingredients with the set menu themes.
The wine list was a bit disappointing - wine by glass selection was a bit limited, especially given that some positions were not available.
Overall we had a nice celebration, and enjoyed the food.
Are we planning to return back? Yes - given that set menu updates every 5 weeks or so.

Thank you very much to the ‘Six By Nico’ team. For their wonderful hospitality & service. Allowed me to amend my booking to add an additional person the day-off with no issue & accommodated me. & were very kind & attentive to mark my birthday! A lovely handwritten note that meant a lot to me. Food was served quickly & was delicious and served hot! Love the facts & figures with the clues from team - who really made it an engaging experience, it really didn’t go unnoticed. First time here also. ⭐️

Normal option was very nice, and catered well to a dairy allergy. However the vegetarian menu needs a lot more effort. None of the six courses included a protein, and were worse versions of the main menu, leaving the vegetarians still quite hungry on leaving. Atmosphere and building were lovely and it was nice interactive experience. Food was very tasty aside from the above
