Jag tog min man till sin födelsedag och vi har haft allt om denna plats. Personalen kunde inte vara till hjälp, matmenyn är begränsad men vi älskade varje morcel. Cocktails var de bästa vi har haft, mycket annorlunda och spännande inte din genomsnittliga cocktaillista och personalen rekommenderade cocktails baserat på vad vi gillade att dricka. Vi var tidigt så det skulle vara intressant att se hur de klarar sig när det är upptaget. Det är annorlunda och definitivt värt ett försök. Fyra av oss gick till en cocktail och bento på en tidig kväll. Till slut kunde vi inte räkna ut vad Bonsai Bar försökte vara. De har cocktailbaren vibe ganska mycket nere. Sätena är bekväma, belysningen mysig, etc. . . Själva cocktails men - kanske lite för mycket blomstrar och inte tillräckligt med något annat. Min drink kom i en japansk tekanna. Det var bra tills jag försökte hälla den - isen blockerar pipen och en liten dryck dryck häller ut. Sedan blockerar det ännu mer driblingen vänder sig till en sippa, vilket resulterar i att drycken surrar ner pipen och på bordet. Varje individuell bit av bento var trevlig, men den hänger bara inte ordentligt för någon av oss. Vi arbetade så småningom att rätter saknade ris eller nudlar. När vi tittar tillbaka på menyn var det enda tillgängliga risalternativet "Tempura av sushiris". Den mest märkliga delen av det hela var dock det faktum att även om vi tycktes vara vid ett av de större borden så var det inte möjligt att föra fyra bento-brickor och fyra drinkar (plus cocktail-tepannor) på det, så bitar av bricka lämnades hängande över människors varv. Som titeln säger var detta en mycket speciell matupplevelse. Om jag åkte igen skulle jag hålla fast vid cocktails och undvika maten helt eftersom det egentligen inte fungerade för oss.
