I Was for the Rojo Party. It was a great place with fantastic entertainment of sexy dancers and good music to dance! Next Rojo I will be again. Good party to come back!

Oliva doesn’t welcome foreigners.

When we went there the line was almost empty but we had people in front and behind. They kept us for 10 minutes in line, while the people in front and behind us (which had just arrived) entered the club. After letting everyone in except us, security told us that it was too late to let us enter, even though he had let in so many people and we had a ticket.

The worst of all is that it was a Latin party, where you would be expected a bit more of inclusivity towards foreigners, but they only welcomed Dutch and not me and my friends (Spanish). I don’t understand this discrimination towards us.

Watched the door staff repeatedly assault a man who continued to be calm, and even  turn away people who had bought presale tickets for “looking too old” or “looking to drunk”. Staff inside the club were incredibly rude and the space was very small. Please save your money or at least spend it at one of the much better club’s Amsterdam has to offer.

I recently visited Oliva Club in Amsterdam and had an extremely disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. I purchased presale tickets online, which were naturally cheaper than buying at the door. When I arrived at the club around 1 AM, I noticed three lines: one for cops, one for presale tickets (my line, which was empty), and one for door ticket sales (which was more expensive and had a longer queue).

Upon reaching the front of the presale line, the security staff informed me that the night was "exclusively for students." This was clearly a cover-up to push more people into buying the more expensive door tickets, as I witnessed multiple non-students (clearly 40+ years old) being allowed to purchase tickets at the door and enter the club. The manager at the door seemed visibly embarrassed when I pointed this out, as it was obvious that the "student night" claim was a lie.

When I asked for a refund, the staff member was quick to offer one, but that’s not the point. It’s not about the money—it’s about the principle. The club’s blatant discrimination and dishonesty left a sour taste in my mouth. The staff at the door, including the manager, were unprofessional and even laughed when I expressed that this was about the experience, not the money. Their attitude was dismissive and amateurish, showing a complete lack of respect for customers.

Oliva Club is clearly more interested in making a quick buck than providing a positive experience for its guests. The discrimination, lies, and poor customer service are unacceptable. I would strongly advise against visiting this club if you’re looking for a fun, fair, and professional night out. There are plenty of other venues in Amsterdam that value their customers and provide a better experience. Oliva Club needs to seriously rethink its approach to customer service and ethics if it wants to survive in the long run. Avoid this place at all costs!

Still no reply from the venue across email, phone number and social media (instagram). I do not want assume anything but it feels our personal items are now in position of the club and they cut off contact and have no intention of returning. We are no longer in the country and that’s the issue.

Original: The locker we used got stuck and could not open. We have tried contacting the lost and found email for the last two weeks but received no replies. Tried calling the phone number as well and was told will get back to us but no reply…
