Absolutely loved our stay at The College Hotel Amsterdam! The front desk agents were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcome from the start. The hotel itself is stunning—a beautiful and charming boutique gem. Everyone we encountered was warm and accommodating. The location is fantastic, close to everything we wanted to explore. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Absolutely charming hotel in the heart of Amsterdam that was once a boys’ school. For tall people like myself, the high ceilings and windows are a nice plus. The rooms are spacious and not overly furnished. The bed is very comfortable, the sheets good and the pillows, excellent. The shower is large and open (though you should be a little careful because it can get a tad slippery).

Housekeeping is excellent.

The decor is beautiful and understated including the exposed brick and the touches of midcentury modern accessories and furniture.

But what makes this hotel exceptional is the energy of the staff who are friendly, helpful but also have a camaraderie with each other which creates a great atmosphere. Peter, the doorman, for example couldn’t be more professional and accommodating.

I recommend this hotel for people who love character and tranquility.

I had an amazing experience at The College Hotel! The highlight was the incredible breakfast on March 17th, which was not only delicious but made even better by the warm and welcoming staff.

A special thank you to Christine, Daantje, Julia, and Isabella for their kindness, great service, and the lovely conversations. Being here alone for a few days, their warmth truly made a difference.

I would also like to give my compliments about Japhet, who ensured I did not have to pay fees for parking when I was surprisingly told that this was 60 EUR per day (his team forgot to inform me). Very well taken care of and great service all together.

The hotel’s charm, elegance, and outstanding hospitality make it a must-visit in Amsterdam. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My new favorite city hotel! They got all the details right: the rooms are charming and distinctive, the bed and pillows comfortable, the service was great, and there were some unexpected touches, like delicious chocolates and custom scents for the room, that exceeded expectations. I can’t wait for my next stay!

Exquisite balance of honouring legacy and heritage with modern artsy feel. The location is safe and walkable as well as outside of the hectic core of the city. The best part of this hotel however is by far the staff. They were attentive, professional and more so showed great care. Peter greeted me with warmth and a smile, Raol and Juliana ensured a smooth check in process and that my stay was comfortable. Femke helped me enjoy every moment outside the hotel with recommendations.

Highly recommend and will be staying here again in just a week.
