We stopped by this museum with our guide after walking around the Jewish Ghetto Memorial.  This museum documents as well as offers a glimpse into the treatment of the Jewish people during World War II in Krakow, Poland.  It is also a testament to the spirit not only of the Jewish people, but to the courage and bravery of the Pankiewicz family who were willing to risk their own lives to save others.  This is a unique experience not only to investigate the past and how medicine was practice, but into the goodness of others despite the horrors of war surrounding them.  The pharmacy is located at the southwest corner of the Plac Bohaterow Getta and a must to visit after visiting the Jewish Ghetto Memorial.  There is a small entry fee, but it is limited in its hours of operations, so make sure to check if you wish to go inside.

Great small museum dedicated to the shop and staff of the museum and the help they gave the Jews in the ghetto, including giving medicines and treatment for free and helping some escape at a risk to their own lives. Very interesting and informative with lots of information in English and lots of cupboard doors to open to keep children interested. Also interesting to see the old pharmacy equipment. Included in Krakow card or available to see separately.

The exhibits are very effective at recreating the atmosphere around the pharmacy during the Nazi occupation, particularly the testimony of those who worked there.  There are many drawers of documents and stories and reading them all would probably take an hour

The stylised recreation of the fume hood is effective in explaining it, but I think a recreation of a 1930s fume hood would be more in context.  Similarly, a few more pharmacy items such as a scales on the counter, paper bags etc, would help.

Very well executed museum.
I came away very moved by the film showing. It told the story of a woman saying goodbye to her mother and how a German soldier had whipped her face and hands because he was angry.  Something I will never forget.

Great little museum with very helpful staff. Very interesting and informative visit. If you have done Schindlers factory or one of the Jewish walking tours its a great addition. The museum is quite a hands on experience where you look inside draws and cupboards to find story's of the ghetto. Would recommend.
