Detta brukade vara vår favorit restaurang bar i Altea och vi har varit flera gånger under de senaste 3 åren. Vi bor i Spanien och tar alltid våra besökare till vackra Altea. Förra måndagen den 16 juni återvände 4 av oss till Altea och vi begav oss mot bar Al Raco. Vi satt vid ett bord för 4 på uteserveringen och beställde kalla drycker. Baren var upptagen och vi satt i en timme eller så och njöt av atmosfären. Vid den här tiden var det ungefär 3 . 30 pm och vi ville beställa mat. Baren var nu praktiskt taget tom och bara 4 utomhusbord upptagna. Efter att ha ätit där förut, visste vi att du kämpar för plats på de små borden. Vi bad den unga servitören att ta med ett annat bord över eller kunde vi flytta till det närliggande bordet för 6 . Kyparen vägrade och sa till oss att stanna vid bordet vi var vid. Nästa bord för 6 hade bara 4 personer satt vid det och drack kaffe och de hade varit där i över en timme. Vi förstår utrymme är en premie i Altea och skulle inte ha frågat om baren hade varit trångt eller om det var en kö för bord - men det var tomt! ! ! ! Så vi flyttade till det tomma bordet för att njuta av vår måltid i lugn och ro. Servitören återvände och bad oss att flytta tillbaka till bordet för 4 . Vi sa att det finns bara 4 personer på nästa bord för 6 till oss och servitören LJÖG! Han sa att det hade varit 6 personer och 2 hade lämnat - vi hade suttit där och sett de 4 anländer och sitta ner. En andra ung servitör kom och bad oss flytta, så vi annullerade matbeställningen och bad om notan för att betala för drinkarna och vi skulle gå någon annanstans. En tredje lång, äldre servitör kom ut till oss - vi har sett honom varje gång vi har varit där innan och han har alltid varit vänlig och välkomnande. Han kände igen oss och närmade sig inte bordet utan gick tillbaka till de 2 unga servitörerna och sa till dem att lämna oss där. Maten kom och vi fick inte några kryddor eller frågade om vi behövde något annat. När vi ville ha en drink till - ignorerade den ursprungliga servitören oss och gömde sig faktiskt inne i baren! Räkningen var strax under 100 euro men uppenbarligen denna bar behöver inte verksamheten. Det finns flera härliga restauranger i Altea och vi kommer att prova dem i framtiden. Vi kommer inte att återvända till Bar El Raco igen på grund av den fruktansvärda attityden hos de 2 unga manliga servitörer.

Härligt läge bra service njöt av tapas skulle och kommer att komma igen. En härlig solig plats att sitta på torget och titta på världen går förbi.

På torget uppe vid kyrkan i vad en del kallar gamla Altea trängs serveringarna. El Raco ligger i ett hörn mitt emot kyrkan och här stannade vi en solig februaridag. Rimligt snabbt fick vi vår beställning, min cola i den hatade lilla flaskan medan min bocadillo atun var helt OK efter tillsats av majonnäs. Rimliga priser för att vara i en riktig turistfälla.

Långsam service, men ok val. Var tvungen att gå in för att beställa fler drycker, och bartendern var inte i bra humör. Men vi fick vad vi ville ha. Priserna var som förväntat i Altea (lite hög). Atmosfären är alltid bra på denna plats: -)

Ett litet café och bar, service traditionell kafémat. Bruschetta - typ. Bra, för mycket pepperoni, men trevligt. Ok personal och service. Trevlig inredning i puben, rena och trevliga toaletter. Trevlig utsikt över plaza med kyrka.

Klättrade uppför kullen för utsikten och kom över El Raco på kyrkans torg satte sig ner för en öl och bestämde sig sedan för att äta efter att se folk äta tapas vi hade också cesar sallad och croquettesna hade lite kryddig till dem alla mycket välsmakande och värd mycket trevlig och multi linguel

En härlig liten restaurang / bar i Altea mittemot kyrkan. Det är ganska en klättring för att komma dit upp, men det är väl värt det! ! ! De 300 eller så stegen är lite bortom mig dessa dagar, så för ca 4 euro får vi en hytt till toppen och gå ner. Det finns en ganska omfattande meny med lättbett och ett par dagliga specialerbjudanden. Jag hade kyckling Caesar sallad som var underbar och mycket färskt. Alla tvättas med stora mängder vino. Stämningen är väldigt avslappnad och utsikten uppifrån är ganska spektakulär. Vi fångar nej. 10 buss från BENIDORM, som tar ca 30 minuter och kostar € 1, 50. Bussar körs var 15: e minut eller så.

Stannade i för lunch efter ankomsten till Altea på vårt 1 gata besök den 27/3/2018. Vad en Sök & härlig överraskning. Hälsad av en mycket vänlig och hjälpsam servitör som såg till att vi satt i det vackra solskenet. Vi hade en mängd Wild svamp, ost & tomat på rostade bröd med chips. Alla var utmärkt & kokta bra. Två pints öl med vatten för att tvätta det ner. Totalkostnad € 15. 30. För vad vi hade representerat stort värde med bra service. Skulle definitivt rekommendera & platsen är fantastisk.

idealiskt beläget på Plaza, är El Raco en utmärkt plats att sluta för drycker och ett mellanmål. Plaza är vacker och kyrkan är väl värt ett besök. Baren har ett bra urval av externa och interna sittplatser. Drycker är bra värde och en blandad tapas var perfekt för 4 personer som delar. Ett bra ställe att koppla av och varva ner. Det finns många sätt att komma till Plaza, med slingrande steg som tar dig genom pittoreska vitkalkade hus. Nu och då snubblar du på fantastiska utsikter Väl värt ett besök
