A wonderful place for queer events. The decoration is so cool and atmosphere is lovely. Girls were so enjoyable there;-) But a kind reminder here is to increase the service and beverage levels rather than make them like “fast-food”—pouring alcohol together.

Early in March I hosted a large group at both Cathedral and Scotland Yard. Dan and the entire team, worked with us extensively in preparation for a wall-to-wall turnout.  Our group had a fantastic time, with great food and a staff that worked incredibly hard.  Our guests said they enjoyed their time and also commented how engaged and friendly the staff was with everyone.  Excellent job in managing hundreds of people over the course of a great evening.

The atmosphere is amazing! The service was speedy and attentive. The live music keeps us entertained. My only wish is for more space; it's always so crowded. It seems like management allows more people in than the venue can comfortably hold. Despite that, I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially for its cool decor.

Great environment. Great staff. Specifically their bartender Axel. Honestly, he is one of if not the best bartender I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. His attention to detail and service blew me away. Truly made it fun to just sit at the bar, and he turned a random walk in for a beer into a really awesome experience. Between him and the other guests who were great to talk to. The food from Sphagetti Factory was delicious as well. Their happy hour from 4 till 9pm made their prices really reasonable too. 10/10 will visit the next time I'm on the Esplanade.

Just reiterating what others have said about the line on NYE. My friends & I arrived just after 10:30 & the line was almost to the end of the block because of how mind-numbingly slowly it was moving. We ended up not getting in until 11:55 after more than an hour standing in the rain for no other reason than I could tell, but inefficiency. There were only 2 people checking IDs at the door, then only 1 person to scan tickets & again only 1 person giving out wristbands. Coat check luckily was surprisingly quick & we had a good time once inside. But if this is a representation of how the line is normally handled, on a regular basis or for any other special events, I won't be back. Very disappointing start to the evening.
