Always a wonderful time at this E&C.  As usual staff were great! I had booked for a group of 10 for some colleagues and I.  Then more people showed up and luckily staff were able to accommodate.  The food was great. My Ruben was delish, the shepherds pie hit the spot and the sticky toffee pudding was ideal to share.  In the end it was a hit and a few others ordered more of them.  Our group grew to about 25 with some coming and going. Again thank you to the wonderful staff whom were perfectly attentive to our food and drink needs.  E&C has always been a great place for our large and small groups everytime.  See you guys again soon!

A great location to drink & dine with friends and colleagues. The place has a rustic European look. Service is great. Few options in food were amazing. As per my colleagues, Pot pie was amazing. It's definitely a good location in downtown.

We came here for the first time last night (Saturday), had Miyah as our server and she was lovely! Roughly 7-7:30 pm seemed like an ideal time, not too busy.
I got the wee pie flight, which was very good. It is mini versions of their four savory pies. The steak and mushroom pie was my absolute favorite,  potato leek my number 2 pick,  and I appreciated the option of getting to try them all.  We also ordered fried pickles and a grilled chicken club with fries. Food came out quickly.  All tasted very fresh and delicious.  The menu had so  many things that looked good, and items were reasonably priced. I will definitely be back,  we love pub food, and this one was a very nice atmosphere with great service.

Our waitress(I believe her name was Mia- went on a Saturday night) was really nice and she made us laugh too! Food was pretty good too. Highly recommend fish tacos and fried pickles! Went for a friends birthday and our waitress brought out a brownie for her with a candle. It was very sweet. My group loved their shepherds pie and steak pie as well! Ale & onion soup was OK. The cheese was good but the soup was just ok. Overall, would come again!

This rating is based on an corporate event where I didn't have to pay.  The food was not great.  The wings and chicken fingers were very dry.  The chips and pie were pretty good.  I do understand that have make a big batch so maybe is harder.  The service was not bad and everyone seems to be having a lot of fun.
