The museum is free, with 2 floors, half a dozen exhibition rooms.  if you are fluent in Spanish it will give you are very thorough history of development of medicine in the Americas.  Even if you are not, the palace itself has a colorful history (served as headquarter of Spanish Inquisition in New Spain), it's worth it to just walk around and thinking about all the events happened inside these walls.

Dentro de este edificio vivieron los inquisidores y demás ministros del tribunal. El edificio actual fue construido desde el año 1732 a 1736. Hecha en cantera y tezontle. Su fachada es de estilo barroco.
Este edificio fue declarado monumento histórico el 9 de febrero de 1931.

The inquisitors and other ministers of the court lived inside this building. The current building was built from 1732 to 1736. Made of quarry and tezontle. Its façade is in the baroque style.

En su terreno se construyó la primera iglesia de Santo Domingo en 1526. Posteriormente  se cedió al Tribunal de la Inquisición, la construcción que se ve actualmente data del año de 1736 realizada por Pedro de Arrieta. Luego fue la Escuela de Medicina, en algún momento se le agregó un piso más que fue demolido. Actualmente es un museo.

The first church of Santo Domingo was built on its land in 1526. It was later transferred to the Court of the Inquisition; the construction that is currently seen dates back to 1736, carried out by Pedro de Arrieta. Then it was the School of Medicine, at some point another floor was added that was demolished. It is currently a museum.
