The park is so shaded and cool. Lots of areas to picnic in. It’s also part of the new route for the Day of the Dead parade.

At the moment there is no water in the pools under the arches (they are not actually arches but I am not sure of the roper description. Without water the structures are interesting but not a great sight. And because there is no water in the pools, people seem to hang around under the arches which results in some distracting trash. The rose garden, the covered path next to it, and the foliage in the background are quite pleasant. I’d definitely recommend seeing it if you are in the area of the university. And if it gets cleaned up and the water is turned on then it would definitely be worth a visit.
