January 2, 2025, dinner was booked at Oktober, a restaurant near where we were staying. This place features French cuisine with an Asian twist.

We opted for the dinner tasting menu with wine pairings, which included six courses—appetizers, mains, and dessert—accompanied by five different wines.

Every dish was incredibly creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You could really feel the thought and effort the chef put into crafting each flavor, as well as their skill in conveying these flavors to diners through the dishes. The wine pairings included three French white wines, an Argentinian red wine, and a dessert wine to complement the dessert. The service was also excellent—warm and friendly, which was a significant plus.

Food was absolutely incredible and some of the best food we had over 10 nights in Paris, Reims, and Amsterdam. Service left a lot to be desired though. I would expect more for a higher end tasting menu experience!

Asian people must like it as well as European people!
For Asian, it can be kind of modern Asian food, for European, it can be modern French cuisine but a bit of taste of Asia.

So good I came back again within 3 days. One of the best meals I had in Paris. The lunch menu is reasonable for the quality and service. Must visit.

A truly unforgettable dining experience- the best we’ve had in Paris. The food was the focus, with a playful and ambitious tasting menu that was equally stimulating and delicious (and was tailored to meet dietary restrictions without judgement or concern). Wines on offer were curated beautifully, and converted a surprising spectrum of price and style. The service was impeccable, offering the right blend of formality and personality. We can’t wait to come back.
