It was a Friday night and we all felt adventurous and looking for something a little bit different and new. We had heard of,and walked past a couple times, a new Pizza, Pies and Cider place in the east end. Yes, Pizza, Pie and Cider! A bit of a weird set combination.

We arrived and got ourselves settled in. The Stable is a great venue with an open and bright space, park bench type seating and a cider list an arm long. In fact the range of ciders they have on tap is incredible and somewhat daunting at first.

The food is great and we all went for pizza, which is cooked on a sourdough base and has real fresh ingredients added. The menu included pizza like Quavers cheese, Devon Blue Street and Cheeky chicken - the pizzas we ordered in fact. The food came out real quickly and was full of flavour, word of warning, the Quavers cheese pizza contains some intense cheese..... And only cheese!

As I mentioned earlier, they have an extensive list of ciders but they also over cider based cocktails, try the Blushing Ginny, we had a pitcher and it went down very, very well.

After 6pm the venue opens up the rear bar which extends out to a room around 10m x 8m, so there's plenty of space for larger groups.

I was lucky enough to be invited to The Stable's launch party in Whitechapel. The Stable originally had no London branches, so it was a big night as this branch is their first and only London branch, congratulations The Stable!

Samples of lots of their pizzas were on offer, and we enjoyed a lot of them, but were also surprised at a few of them too! The Cheesy Quaver pizza (you can find it on their menu) was delicious and so so cheesy. If you don't like cheese, stay away from this guy! But if you love it, go for it full steam ahead! Strong cheese, yum! The Billy the Kid had some yummy goats cheese on it, and I do remember this one being delicious, so this is another one to order if you like cheese! The two pizzas that were a bit odd were The King Crabber and The Aldgate Angler, both with lots of fish... I'm not sure that a lot of mackerel and salmon worked well, but this could just be me! If you're a big fish fan, your idea of heaven may be for it to be on a pizza... So try it out if you like fish!

The best thing about this place is the building, venue, environment, and staff. The food was good, but I feel as if the food was 4 stars, whereas the venue and environment were 5 stars! All of the staff were on top form, all very friendly and keen to help out whenever anyone needed them. Especially the manager Charlotte, she was great! 

Definitely recommend this place if you're local to Whitechapel, and the great thing is, their ciders are incredible too! It's a very laid back and fun atmosphere as soon as you enter the doors, with their bar area at the back too. A good all-rounder this place! I do recommend it :)

We stopped here after our tourist-y but fun Jack the Ripper walking tour. It's in the general vicinity of many of the murders but is not one of the pubs that is discussed on the tour. We wanted to avoid the crowds at the "Ripper" pubs so we chose this spot. It's got a cool vibe and neat industrial-like decor. We only had a drink, no food, since the kitchen was closed.

Pretty darn good, from an American having their first pie in London. Was also nice to take a break from the gloat of pub beer with a flight of ciders for tasting.

This place was around he block from our hotel so we stopped in.. can in around 12-1 pm on a Sunday and it wasn't so busy. We ordered the squish squash pie and a pizza. The food came out relatively fast and the pie was good. I would have liked an opportunity to try some more food but I would say it's deff a place worth visiting especially if you like cider as they had a nice selection.

What a fun place. A ton of ciders on tap - a welcome change from the usual barrage of beers. Plus cute decor and a nice choice of interesting pizzas. Tuesday night is £10 cider + salad + pizza deal. All were delicious, for a stellar price! I'd like to return and do the cider flights or tastings.

I love the idea of a restaurant serving so many draught ciders and I enjoyed trying them all before buying. The cider cocktails were a treat too - try the blushing ginny, it's incredible. 

The pizzas were decent - I think it's pretty hard for any other pizza place to get an "excellent" now Franco Manca is so easily accessible - but the one I chose, the Cheesy Quaver, was just far too much. It was congealed strong cheeses, untempered by mozzarella or anything milder. Trust me, pure melted blue cheese is too strong for a pizza. I had to keep persuading my boyfriend he wanted to try the different cheeses and swapping for slices of his. 

Nonetheless, I'd definitely go back, I'd just be sure to read the menu carefully.

Very good pizza, thin and crispy. Wasn't sure what type of cider I wanted and the waitress walked me thru my options to find the one perfect for me. 1980s music in the background, loved this place. Highly recommended.
