The experience and food at Botanist, is the best in Vancouver. The menu is always evolving, and the tasting menu is an adventure of the senses. It is Michelin star  level dining. Lindsay was an amazing host throughout our evening! Very knowledgeable about the food, the chef, the restaurant, and elevated our experience.

Excellent meal. We order the octopus which had a nice smokey taste. I tend not to often order steak at most restaurants since I have very high expectations of the cut, cook and seasoning but it was very nicely done especially the mushroom accompaniments. Th lamb dish was so tasty. It came with a lamb rib and piece of lamb (don't remember the cut) was also excellent. The rib seared to a slight crisp and the lamb meat was juicy. Dessert on paper didn't look interesting to us but we tried it. And was not disappointed. The texture and combination of the flavours were very good. Very enjoyable meal.

Not only food was good but service was stellar. Our server gave enough space for to enjoy ourselves but checked in with us. She also listened to us and treated us as you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. Even others in the restaurant and hotel gave us excellent service too.

Highly recommend here for the food and the experience.

A stunning bar with truly unique cocktails.

We started with some “normal” cocktails and scallops while watching, slightly enviously, as the bartenders crafted their signature experience cocktails. The scallops were delicious, served with potatoes and pork, and every element was cooked to perfection.

Luckily, we were bumped up to the bar to try a couple for ourselves, and they did not disappoint. To cleanse our palates, we were given jelly Negroni discs and bubbles before choosing from four cocktails, each with its own story inspired by different elements. We opted for the Raincouver and the Plasma cocktail, both of which had a unique twist that made the flavours evolve over time.

This is what hotel bars used to be. Highly recommend stopping in for a drink.

From the moment you walk through the doors, Botanist reads as an oasis of elegance.  We started out the evening by enjoying the expertly crafted cocktails which highlighted the bartender’s creativity. The cocktail menu has something for everyone! The food at Botanist is nothing short of spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed the roasted cauliflower appetizer and then the pork chop entree which was flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sommelier's recommendations perfectly complemented our meals. Sandy, the GM, came by our table to provide dessert recommendations, stellar service was displayed throughout the evening. Botanist is a culinary gem in Vancouver. I highly recommend visiting for a memorable dining experience.

Our visit to the Botonist was a surprise from our friend.  We had the tasting menu and it was fun!
Our server was fantastic and very attentive.
They offered to alter certain courses to accomodate our pregnant friend so she did not have anything raw or with alcohol.
The sourdough bread was tasty!
Each course came out with an explanation and story.  A very nice experience into the Chef's mind through food.  I really like the mushroom marshmallow, so fun!
The drinks were also refreshing.
