I was lucky enough to get a seat here and have some ramen and ice tea. The ice tea was good! But I was surprised there was no sugar or any sweetener to make it less bitter for me. She tried to put some lemon in it but some sugar prob would have worked. The ramen I had was excellent. Though a little too salty. All the ingredients were very tasty. For me, this is like 3 meals in one sitting., I ate as much as I could, but I asked the waitress if I could have a container to bring the rest home. I wouldn't think this should be a problem to take your leftover food that you paid for with you, and open up a seat for someone in queue waiting to come in to get a meal. She said she had to ask the chef if I can take a container, and then she asked the chef right in front of me. He looked right at me blankly, and told her no after looking at me. I have to say that was not very nice service. To look right at my face and decide that I'm not to bring my leftovers with me., and just waste all of it. While I can see a stack of leftover containers in the kitchen right from my seat. That was just a shame because more than half of my food was left over. I have a small stomach and I can't eat all this one sitting! Wish I could! I thought I would just eat the rest of it later in the evening. But the chef said no container for you. I tried to eat a little more of it but had to leave a lot of it behind. How wasteful! That really bummed me out when he said no, as I tried to force a few more bites. I wanted to thank him for the meal because it was so delicious, but I was so irritated at that point every time I look at him. To me that was a big strike even if your food is good. I don't think I would go back there again. The waitress was friendly though. I do understand why you don't allow takeout since the art of the bowl would be compromised while walking or biking, I do think when someone has more than half of their food left over you could be gracious to give them a container to put it in. So that was really wasteful and I don't think I would come back here again but if you're very hungry and you can eat a lot of food get there early so you can get a seat otherwise it's a 40 minute wait outside in line on the street, and a very small location with no bathroom. The food was very good. The chef's rude temperment and the leftover container policy needs work.

I didn't get the hype here... We paid about 1000 DKK ($160) for 3 bowls of ramen, 1 chicken karaage and couple drinks. I understood its CPH price but it's not worth it. Ramen bowls were overly salty, and chicken karaage was hard like a rock that we couldn't eat. Definitely not authentic and extremely overpriced. Our server was great, but we had to wait for a while for our orders to come. Such a disappointing experience!!!

Went with a group of 4 and everyone got a different ramen. All of them were excellent and the broth was the highlight. We also shared the fried chicken which was also good. The service was good, but one of our friends had to wait a little longer than the rest. Overall it was fantastic and would recommend coming here.

Extremely popular place. There was a line when we went for dinner and the way they have set it up for the queue to move, it looked like it happens on a daily basis. Luckily, the line moved quickly because I was losing my patience in 40 degrees F. Fun part: they have no restrooms!! AND on top of it they suggest you grab a drink while you wait in line??! They also have proper alcoholic drinks on the menu. Hilarious! My husband got the Nduja Miso and I got the Shio. Their ramen was good but I will be very honest - I have had similar or way better Ramen at so many places. I think part of the hype this place gets is from the fact that it has no restrooms and people either think it is so cool or feel like that's a challenge.

I had a free afternoon and had heard so much about this place that I had to give it a try. There was a line out front, but I had arrived 15 minutes before opening (on a Wednesday) and was able to get first seating. Ordering was quick and you pay upon placing your order. What I ordered: - Menchi Katsu Sando: Great bread to meat ratio. The meat patty was fried just right and covered in sauce for a nice combination of flavors - Shio Ramen: This surprised me as the broth was lighter than I expected. You can taste a hint of the smoked mackerel in the broth and but overall it made me think of a phở broth, which wasn't a bad thing. It's all counter seating and I luckily got a seat with full view of the kitchen area. This is a good ramen option with some excellent options for side dishes. I'd come back the next time I'm in Copenhagen.

Best ramen I've ever had in 20 years of ramen-ing. But the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth as it felt like I sat in someone's kitchen while they tolerated me being there until the food was delivered as there is absolutely no sense of service. No bathroom at a dinner "restaurant" is also super inhospitable. This place would have a 99% satisfaction rate as either a walk up window for takeaway only, OR simply a bigger space with a bathroom and waiters that actually wait on you before / during the meal time.

Best ramen in CPH (and serious competition to most ramen places outside CPH)... I am so glad that the group of us did not get too discouraged by the long line outside this place and decided to wait. Boy was it worth it! This place offers the best ramen I've eaten in a long time. I rarely have the capacity to finish a bowl of ramen, but here it was not a problem - and that's as good of a testament to how tasty it was as any. Despite the limited menu, it offers enough variety for different (even the most demanding) palates. It is a small place, with only 21 spots around at the counters. The vibe is fun and unpretentious, the crowd - as multicultural as it gets. Would definitely visit again if/when I am in CPH.

It's been 6 months since I ate here and I still think about how good it was. I got there about 15 min before they opened and was able to get a seat. The dumplings were flavorful and the ramen was tasty. If I ever return to Copenhagen, I'll definitely go back.

On an October Saturday night, a friend and I waited only five minutes to snag seats inside this 21-seat ramen spot. Here's our experience: 1) Food: It's quality ramen. My friend ordered the shio ramen and I the shoyu ramen. The food came out within ten minutes of ordering. We ended up switching since the shio had more rich flavor, which I enjoy. 2) Service: It's superb! At one point our server moved us to a corner of the bar with more seating since my friend is 6'7". So nice! 3) Space: Only fitting 21 seats makes it cozy and fun! The neon art inside adds to the mystique. The downside of this place is the price tag. It's $25 for a bowl of ramen, the most I've ever paid for a bowl of ramen. It's quality ramen, but $25 worth? I'm not convinced.
