They are currently on the 2024 Michelin guide so make a reservation as the restaurant gets quite crowded. Service is really friendly and staff are very helpful. Food is as good as any seafood restaurant in the area. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Great dining experience here. The sole was probably the best fish I’ve ever had. The fig dessert was also great. They gave us free bread and radishes which I really liked.

A solid Michelin guide restaurant.
What’s interesting? The history, the location and the Bib factor.
What’s a Bib? It’s a Michelin category for great price/value ratio. The menu is clearly a great deal, with excellent product. Not high gastronomy like the other restaurant I did (I’m specialized in Michelin stars - follow me for the reviews and updates of every single Michelin star in Paris… and more) but it’s clearly well crafted and the chef can be proud. The service was super nice as well.

But let’s add to that the location: right in front of the Odeon theater, next door to the most famous French publishing house and with walls covered with famous patrons. And the most famous of all, Cocteau, simply did the plates.

Oh… by the way it’s a fish restaurant but it shouldn’t be of consideration because (not only you can have meat) it’s good.

Wonderful lunch with a perfect view to the square in front of Odeon theatre. Great food and perfect service. Not cheap but not overpriced given the location and the quality. Offer even on Sunday a lunch menu, which I did not take though.
