Criminally expensive! For 10 euros you are only able to see the chapel (sure the frescos are beautiful, but not 10 euro worthy beautiful) and the rest of the church is off limits. Staff is incredibly rude, you can better spend your money elsewhere.

I’m all for donations to restore these old churches, but 10 euro is about 10 euro more than it should be. Nothing really to see. Bathrooms filthy. Go to the last supper room to the right of the ticket office. Watch the video that does a thorough review of the Church’s Massio et al frescoes,, and then feast your eyes on the room’s LS fresco . Don’t bother with the church ticket.

Sublime. If you want to see how the early Renaissance in art truly started, don't miss this. Massacio's frescoes are exquisite and important. The scaffolding necessary for preservation and restoration allows us to get close to these masterpieces. Despite the Byzantine ticket booking arrangements, this place is highly worthwhile.

The frescoes were magnificent - truly stunning. However, the staff, particularly one woman with red-grey curly hair, were incredibly rude. 45 minutes before our reservation slot, we called to ask if it would be ok to come to the next slot instead. The ticket office said yes, that was absolutely fine. When we got there, the woman said that no, we could only come at the slot we booked, and we needed to rush to make the last 15 minutes of the slot if we wanted to see it at all. She said it rudely and with no patience, although we asked her kindly. We told her that we called, and she said that was the ticket office for another attraction, which was a lie - we obviously checked with the man on the phone. She was rude, a liar, and honestly shouldn’t be working in a job that requires human interaction. I can understand if the ticket is only valid for that timeslot, but that is exactly why we called early to check. Wonderful chapel, amazing art, but terrible customer service.
