After a few hard days of work, I relaxed here. Very friendly and attentive service. Wonderful dishes, well-orchestrated from simple to complex, with a grand finale. Do not underestimate the cheese in this country. Perfect wine pairings. Even the espresso was spot on. I hope to return again.

I had an amazing dining experience at Rijks. The service was excellent, and I regret not asking for the staff member’s name. Special thanks to the lady with the constant big smile 🫶🏼. For my birthday, they went above and beyond by preparing a super cute card and even letting me walk into the kitchen to take a picture with the chef team.

We've been to other fine dining/Michelin restaurants before, but this one stands out! Super friendly staff, great food, pretty outside restaurant.

The food didn't feel like a combination of random flavours, it was delicious. My partner had the vegetarian lunch course and I had the standard one - we were both impressed. He loved the beetroot dish and for me, the fish Tarbot dish was fantastic. We'd highly recommend those dishes for sure.

We went for lunch to this lovely restaurant. The quality of the food was superb and also the service was very lovely. We shared a wine pairing which was extremely good.
In total a amazing and relaxed lunch for only 65€ for 4 courses.

I had the seven course meal with wine pairing. Three of the dishes were exquisite the rest was quite good. The wines were all fantastic. But, all things included, at 250 euros a head  it wasn't good enough by quite a long shot. For that price point I expect almost every dish to be a hit and for the wine pairings to be pairings not combinations that simply don't clash. Hence three stars for the food. The service was too slow, we started at 18:00 and left at 23:30. Even with seven courses, most of which being two to six bites, this was also subpar. The worst part though was that even though we had explicitly said that my wife has a lactose allergy while booking, the kitchen was clearly only learning about it when we arrived and was not properly prepared. Then they served her a dish with a butter sauce only for us to say "errrr I'm pretty sure Beurre is French for butter, is this OK for her to eat?". Dropping the ball like this is forgivable at a pancake restaurant where the teenage waiter doesn't really know what lactose even is but at this level of restaurant I expect better. So all in all I had a lovely evening with my friends but I will not be going back considering what else is on offer in Amsterdam at this price point.
