I enjoyed it here! If ever I return again, I’m hoping they’ll still be around so I can enjoy their delicious meals and friendly atmosphere. The decor was cute. Their menu has several different languages so you’d have to flip it to your language which I think is great too.

Small place and they do get busy so definitely have a reservation! We lucked out we came here just before the late crowd. I’d highly recommend it here for traditional Dutch cuisine and a friendly smile. We appreciate feeling like we aren’t tourists in here. It felt like that American sitcom CHEERS lol.

This restaurant makes you feel at a Dutch home. So nice and warm. Perfect for the cold weather today. For starters we had the pea soup which was very welcoming to our cold hands. The beef stew was so hearty and warming. Loved the warm red cabbage side dish. My hubby ordered the Sausage with smashed potatoes with carrots.  The ham looked amazing , but we did not ordered :) Next time!

Had a beautiful meal at the Pantry last night for our final evening in Amsterdam. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Dutch cuisine, then this is your place. You’re welcomed into this quaint restaurant like family and fed like a welcomed member of their family as well. You can’t go wrong with any dish. By the time we left, the line was out on the street. Reservations are a must (which we had!)

We visited the Pantry while in Amsterdam since we wanted to try local food. They have a series of three course menus where you can pick an appetizer, entree, and dessert. We really enjoyed the traditional dishes along with the wine and beer pairings. The service was incredible! The place was very busy with small tablets all full and the servers did their best to accommodate all parties.

Highly recommend if you are visiting and want to experience local cuisine!
