It has been 5 years since I've been to London and found this wonderful cafe again in the Paddington area.  I was happy to find that the baked goods from fresh breads and pastries and their salads and sandwiches are still very good.  Laurents is still a great place for a quick or leisurely breakfast or lunch.

After a huge breakfast and a morning of sightseeing, we weren't ready for a full lunch but we needed a little mid-afternoon pick my up to tide us over until dinner.   As were were on our way from Paddington Station to Kensington Gardens, I pulled up Yelp to find the perfect place and up popped Laurents.  

The pastries looked great, as did their savory fare but I needed some sugar so decided to get a lemon meringue tart and a coffee.   The tart was delicious and the coffee was excellent.  Staff members were friendly and cheerful.  We sat at a table outside and watched the world go by as we gathered our strength to continue our sightseeing.    It was the perfect place to stop and I recommend it to anyone in the area.

House made - fresh daily - pastries and coffee drinks made to order. I think that covers it all. Oh, it's quaint and charming and has a delicious side to the business model.

The cutest spot has outdoor tables to sit and people watch. They have a large selection of pastries and baked goods with vegan and gf options. They also have prepared foods like eggplant parm that they can heat up for you and salads. Love this spot

Came to this spot at 7 In the morning based on the yelp reviews and this place is just what I was looking for! My husband and I got the salmon quiche, an almond croissant (which was quite literally baked minutes beforehand, fresh from the oven!) we also got a couple lattes. We will be back! Everything was phenomenal!

Very nice shop. Baking fresh croissants and a wide assortment of pastries. Excellent coffee. A few tables outside on a quiet street to enjoy the morning. Ready to take on London Town.

Nice little store. Fresh baked goods: croissants, donuts and other breads and pastries. Good coffee too. A terrific place for a snack or breakfast.

The coffee (in a land of tea) was delicious. My Americano was great, and my bride really enjoyed her cappuccino. Just the right amount of foam.
Service was personable, friendly and efficient. Everything I like when craving my first cup of coffee in the morning.
The lemon/blueberry cake was delightful and my ham and cheese croissant was certainly better than average. Not exactly just baked in a Paris bakery, but pretty darn good.

My husband and I are in London for an extended visit and found Laurent's when look for a super market. The Coffee and cannolis ( one hazelnut and one pistachio) have become a routine and we absolutely love this  this place the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend not only for desserts but food as well.
