I stopped at this Shake Shack for a quick meal after a matinee performance at one of the nearby theatres. I arrived around 4:30 and the place was totally empty. When I went to the counter, two staff members were chatting. They looked at me waiting to place my order, but waited to finish their conversation before one of them stepped up to the register, which was a little off putting. 

I received my food about 10 minutes after placing my order. Everything was hot and fresh. It's on par with other Shake Shacks I've visited in the US. The menu here isn't super expansive and it is definitely expensive, but if you have a craving, this place hits the spot. 

The mushroom burger was decent, but the real stand out was the cheese fries. I've found that fries in London tend to be quite soggy and floppy, but these were crispy and cooked to a perfect golden color. So good!  

I'd recommend trying to eat here during off peak times. When I left the restaurant a little after 5, the queue was out the door.

This place is not so busy as in NYC and Tokyo both of where I have been to and so often had to wait in a long long queue for a hour. I could order soon after entering and then in ten minutes alarming informed me meal was ready and found a seat.
Classic shake shack burger was very nicely tasted the same as US version and satisfied myself 100%.

What an embarrassment this place is. At 12 noon just us and two other customers and 6 employees. Both the single cheeseburger and double cheeseburger came out cold and pink inside. French fries which I watched the girl put into the fryer also magically came out cold. No ketchup in the dispenser. No ketchup packets and no attempt by the employees to refill the dispenser despite myself and another customer asking. One employee sat in the customer area scrolling on his phone  the entire time we were there. Sad.

This place was very crowded and hectic, not clean, and not enough staff.  People were fighting for tables and bathrooms were out of paper.  I probably won't come to this location again.

Not the same taste as its in New York, but DOUBLE priced. 

The burgers here even worse than KFC and Burger King.

Worst S S experience I've ever had.  Very poor service and clueless management made for a long wait and cold food.  What a pathetic version of the real thing!  Wanted a refund but somehow they finished our order and  it was simply awful!  Only go if you are having withdrawls from ingesting too many fish and chips.

Surprisingly no comments about the chain store so far considering its great location, which is right facing the palace theatre. Quite American thing as In-and-out spreads over the west, Shake Shack is mostly situated on the eastern coast of the US. Defo bit pricy and not many choices for burgers, but the cheese was really great, beef was neither overcooked nor too salty, and the bread had a nice milky fragrance. They have WiFi and there's also a table football downstairs free of use to customers

Thought this was supposed to be fast food. Ordered a shake and fries ... 20 mins later received order. Not acceptable.
