The food was tasty. We ordered two grilled sea breams, sesame-crusted tuna, and two “catch of the day” fish dishes. The tuna was excellent, the sea bream average. For the catch of the day, we ordered two fish but received very little actual fish on the plate. It was pasta with very little of fish. It was tasty, but they certainly know how to charge for it. Be careful.

It was an incredible stay! Prior to our arrival, the staff was extremely helpful with information about the destination and transportation. The B&B was great. Close to Amalfi town with a beautiful ocean view. The room was spacious, very clean, with amenities that included a mini bar. They also have a wonderful restaurant for dinner that had incredible food. All of the staff was so welcoming, and made you feel at home. The breakfast featured fresh fruit, eggs, and tomatoes from the chef’s garden. They helped us select the best places to go and would prearrange transportation for us to anywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely return, the staff truly made our stay unforgettable.

This place is amazing. Beautiful views and incredibly friendly and helpful people and really well looked after B&B. Amalfi was a 30 min walk. Traffic this time of year is busy, so be careful on the roads, but being a little outside the busy Amalfi just was so relaxing.

When I was looking it up before we came I was looking for the catch. Well, the catch is we wished we could have stayed longer. Taxis are very expensive so walking is recommended. Buses can be full and might be late or too full to pick up. I literally will never stay anywhere else with a view like this. Photos don't do it justice. The hospitality here is unbelievably good.

Honestly the residence to this place is excellent. Nice. Clean air-conditioned rooms. Accommodating staff on the B&B side of things and it was excellent. We didn’t have a good time in the restaurant underneath though and that was a real shame because that was one thing that let this entire place down. Their filet steak was one of the fattiest I have ever seen! We tried to make a complaint but that fell on deaf ears too!

I have amended my review to 1* from the initial review of 3* after the bad response from the owner! I have also uploaded a photo I took when I was there too! The translation from the menu is timestamped as to when I was in the restaurant and also one thing I failed to say when I was there too… the whole “fish con” which is mentioned in a previous review… we watching this happen to a customer. We also had atrocious customer service from the restaurant in regards to when we asked to see the desert menu, the guy serving us just went “I’ll get the bill now!” - I speak three languages and it seems like the only language this restaurant know is RUDE!! Save yourself a saving and eat ANYWHERE else other than this con!! I was polite and reserved honest before the dumb response from the owner. Don’t make the mistake we did and wreck your last night by going into this place!!

BUYER BEWARE- IF IT ISNT ON THE MENU, THE PRICE MAY PUT A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH.
(UPDATE: According to the menu the catch of the day is 9€  per/100gr - if the lobster was 1.1kg  that would be 99€ , and if the price was higher for the lobster we were not informed at all by anyone there. It is very dissapointing to feel so deceived on our honeymoon. They should think about clearing that up on the printed menu and inform the customer of the outrageous price before the decide on the dish. Maybe then people will not feel like they are being swindled..... We have eatin in many nice restaurants before and had lobster many times in 5 star restaurants and have never paid that much for an entree- and if we did we would have been clearly informed of the price. )

We ordered their "catch of the day" lobster (not on the menu) and ended up being charged 224€ ($250) . When we asked management about it, they said they showed us the lobster and therefore we should have known how expensive it would be. We were not informed and it was not listed anywhere. It is clearly something they often do to tourists. Food is decent but not extraordinary, especially for that price. Make sure you know the price before you order.
