I am a huge fan of speakeasys, and most of the time I am disappointed, but Rasputin exceeded my expectations completely!! First of all, it was hard to find, and I almost got lost. The website is mysterious and cryptic, which I loved. Upon entry, it is super dark and you have to ring a bell for service, again, mysterious and spooky!!

The interior is amazing. Moody, dark, edgy, paintings and candles make it seem just a tinge unsettling and historic. Dark red walls will always be one of my favorite things ever. You’re not really allowed to take pictures in there, which was sad as I wish i could document this but since it’s a speakeasy I understand.

Drinks are very very expensive, ranging from 20 to 24 euros per drink, but they are very unique and specialized. Drinks include strange ingredients like wasabi and soy sauce. Super unique, not like anything I’ve ever tried before. They’re also super strong, so despite the very high price point, just know that you WILL get drunk. Staff also continuously came to refill my water, which was nice!

Overall I definitely recommend. Despite the price, Rasputin is an experience, and I would love to come again.

10/10 highly recommended for experience and to try their delicious and creative cocktails. This is Florence's first secret bar— like an homage to speakeasy culture. It’s hard to get a table (harder to find the door even) unless you make a reservation. Yes, the drinks are on the pricey side hence you’d only see mostly tourist, but the chic kind of tourists. The vibe is very underground, sexy, dark and brooding. It’s goes with the name I guess.

Pro tip: find the small door, press the bell (only once), and wait for someone to open the door and show you in…to the basement!

We loved it here. You know it's a good speakeasy when you struggle to find the entrance! What a great vibe and attentive staff. Cocktails are pricey but great. We are hoping to squeeze in one more visit before we leave.

Such a cool atmosphere. Drinks were unique and tasted great. The service was good and they made recommendations based on what we liked. Probably more expensive than a lot of places in Florence but worth it for the experience of a drink or two.
