There's construction making access to the museum take longer than google maps wants to direct you. The construction site is poorly marked so allow at least another 5 minutes to get around. Like many visitors I'm only in Mexico for a few days and I made the effort to run over there for the last twenty minutes before 5. They actually closed 10 minutes before 5. This is a very small museum only two rooms. All I would have needed was 10 minutes to see both rooms. I personally think it's rude and unprofessional to close before official closing. I would advise people not to make a special trip to see this or at least call to check the hours before you go. There's so many other places to walk to and no point in putting pressure on ourselves to make it to a place where they might close on you or right before you get there

No doubt, this place would be a mandatory visit. It has a lot of history and interesting things
