Stunning setting overlooking the sea, wine recommendation was good and service was good! The food plating was fantastic and look delicious but quality and flavour was very poor which was a shame. Lots of potential but would only recommend for the view and a drink, skip the food and save your pockets.

Good professional service, but the size of a medium well, Rib Eye Stake was on the small size.It was cooked well and tested great, but the stake was on the smaller sides . Plus, the Stake comes with no source.  It would have been great if the stake was presented with
Peppa corn sauce.

On a beautiful evening, my husband and I spontaneously decided to take a trip to Camps Bay to enjoy some sundowners. From the moment we walked up the stairs to this rooftop establishment, we felt warmly welcomed. We were seated at a sunny spot overlooking Camps Bay Beach. We had two attentive waiters, and all the staff were upbeat with a positive attitude. The DJ played lovely lounge music, creating a great atmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay and order food.

Starters: mussels and beef carpaccio
Mains: sushi and calamari (small plate)

I'm going to be a bit of a food snob here, so forgive me. While there was nothing wrong with the taste or quantity of the meals, the presentation was not up to par. The sushi rolls were untidily made, there were broken shells in the mussel dish, and the presentation of the carpaccio was rather childish - with 4 leaves in an X shape and 4 dots of sauce (see photos).

Despite this minor and somewhat silly critique, it won't deter me from returning! I still highly recommend this restaurant! The ambiance and views are wonderful, the service is more than excellent, and the dishes are tasty (but untidy 😁.)

Loved the atmosphere and friendliness of all the servers. They were super accommodating even when I asked for a drink order to be amended and didn't charge me for it. You usually don't find that at these kinds of places. However, the menu is overpriced even for it being on the promenade.

My return to Chinchilla yesterday was nostalgic. The last time I was there was pre-Covid and the place is still as Stunning as always……

The food is great….similar to (Bungalow) absolutely delicious but unlike Bungalow, they may want to go slow on the racial profiling…..like I’m there to spend my money, treat me equally whether I’m black, brown , yellow, pink or whatever.
