It's seldom I experience a place with food of this calibre and an atmosphere that accentuates the experience to such an extent that I would highly recommend to anyone to take their significant others or friends to try their amazing Japanese cuisine.

The staff are wonderful and a friendly chap by the name of Luke gave us such wonderful service that we will be going back very soon for more.

This is one of the best spots in Capetown hands down because it offers three different floors with different atmospheres and cuisine that will take your pallets on a magic carpet ride.

I recall walking to the rest room and catching a glimpse of a very clean kitchen with hard working staff that have no trouble taking a quick second to indulge my compliments whilst handling a full house of patrons.

Thank you Tjing Thing you never disappoint and my partner and I cherish this place to celebrate our achievements.

We are a family of three and had an early dinner at the Torii restaurant. For starters we ordered the sticky pork belly yakitory (excellent), pork and chive gyosa (excellent) and the okonomiyaki fries (also excellent). For mains we had a pork belly bento (very good), a butadon (excellent) and the spicy smokey beef ramen (okay-ish). We asked that everything be delivered to our table all at once, which was no problem. Staff were super friendly and the vibe is great.

I really like this place. Consistently every time I've gone there the food has been delicious,  the waiters charming and the atmosphere eerie but warm. Can fully recommend for a break from the noise. Especially, I like their cocktail selection.

The food is absolutely delicious, no doubt about that. While it is definitely on the pricey side, for the specific food cuisine offered, it is worth it. We ordered a bunch of starters which were filling enough that we didn’t feel the need for mains, and the drinks were great! There are also plenty of vegetarian options which is always appreciated. Can recommend the bao buns and rice balls.
