The culinary offerings at this location are simply outstanding. It's important to note that they do come with a higher cost, however. But for those who aren't limited by a specific financial plan, trying one of these phenomenal Japanese beef cuts should definitely be considered necessary. Both options – semi-king Kobe and semi-king Omi – impressed us with their perfect preparation. Unfortunately, the accompanying side dishes couldn’t quite keep up; still enjoyable but ultimately forgettable compared to what really mattered…the exceptional meat! Since exceptional cuisine like Japan’s fabled wagyūshirō 和牛志郎 (Wagyu) doesn’t come around often – or cheap – every bite was savored.

We paired the meal with a couple of quality wines Aragawa had to choose from.  They were spot on.   Highly recommend you try for the experience.

Serves best Kobe steak in the world. I’ve been to this restaurant a few times, and always looking forward to revisit. Very simple menu - two different kind of beef, 36 months Kobe and 48 month Tajima, and three different size. The smallest order is 400g, which is generally plenty for one person. Kobe is 55,000 and Tajima is 77,000¥. Probably enough to share between two. There are also options for a few appetizers. The wine list is not exceptional but very sufficient for a small restaurant, which sits maybe 20 max. It has never been busy every time that I visit. Sometimes I hope they are doing better business so they will continue to be around for years to come.

Arrived at location to a locked door and a salivating pallet. Oh well, but I will try again upon return. I put the onus on google to correct the hours of the location as they were closed until the dinner hour. My score of 4 is only because I didn't get to experience what all others have, and that makes me sad and jealous :) 😀

One of the best meals of my life. The steak was divine. Perfectly marbles and really unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. The melon was a surprise as well. I have never have a juicer melon. By far the most expensive meal I’ve ever had, but the experience was unforgettable.
