I lucked upon this place as it was located directly across the street from my hotel. There’s a queue outside most of the day with reason. The coffee is great and the variety of beans is extensive. The service is impeccable, they are kind and very professional. The atmosphere is relaxing and classy. I had the chocolate cake which was rich and delicious. A real treat for coffee lovers!

The coffee here is remarkable! Definitely worth trying their Hot Mocha Java. Their toast here is lovely as well! It compliments very well with the coffee. Pleasent environment ! Definitely a retro Japanese cafe!

Terrible attitude toward foreigners.
We couldn’t even eat the item we paid for.

We ordered too much, so we couldn’t touch the cake. We asked if they could pack it to go, but they refused. Even when we offered to pay extra for packaging and paid extra the eat-in tax, they wouldn’t help. Their already bad attitude hit an all-time low. For my girlfriend and me, the experience was completely ruined.

A famous coffee shop in the area.  Have a large range of selection, including more than 15 types of single blend, various way for coffee making.  A very comfortable setting with Bach music in the background.  A bit commercial compared some of the other old traditional coffee in Japan, but definitely recommended!
