The original Bottle Rockets (BR) in the Ari area was one of my fave bars in Bangkok. I loved the boho, Indie, slightly punk rock spirit of the place and the wonderful big round window that looked into the train station.

So, BRv2 had a lot to live up to, and it didn’t disappoint. But it is quite different to BRv1. Where that bar had the punky, dive bar, club house vibe, BRv2 is more stylish - like if Wes Anderson designed a bar for a film.

Big ups the design and renovation team who have transformed the old Silom alley into an Instagrammers dream spot. But what about the beer? The range of IPAs on tap the night I visited wasn’t to my taste so I settled for a pint of the black stuff which hit the mark.

We didn’t eat but will try some food next time. Overall, it’s good to have BR back on the scene and I wish them all the best. I will definitely bring visiting beer lovers because BR is unlike any other craft beer bar in Bangkok and for that we salute you!

This craft beer bar is awesome! So many taps to choose from, like a beer paradise. Food prices are super cheap compared to other places in Silom or Thaniya. The staff is really nice and helpful, and some speak good English, which is great. I even scored a sweet promotion deal! Definitely a cool spot to chill and enjoy some brews. Cheers!

The beer tasting is limited to 3 EA each, so -1 on the service for not telling

It is located in a corner next to the entrance of Charn Issara Tower 1. The interior of the bar is unexpectedly spacious. You scan a QR code and order using your phone. There are about 20 types of draft beer. The food menu isn’t extensive, but the taste is not bad. I would like to visit again.
