I found myself in Bangkok for Christmas Day without a dinner reservation. I had passed Philippe many times in the past and decided to check and see if there was a possibility of getting a last minute seat. Waitstaff were gracious and it was Philippe himself that arranged for a table for me. I glanced through the extensive menu and settled for the prix fixe Christmas menu. I’m happy to say that this unplanned meal turned into a very satisfying and festive Christmas dinner. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the overall ambience was enjoyed by the full house. Sometimes the special memories are the ones that occur randomly. Very highly recommended. I can see why this restaurant has a successfully pleased its patrons for over 20+ years!

Reserved a table for my sister’s birthday lunch and they were so kind to include a delicious treat for my sister. Thanks so much! This is our favorite restaurant in Bangkok!

Previous update:

Came here twice for their good value lunch meal in September and October. On my latest visit, was greeted warmly by their restaurant manager, Khoon Boon and given a seat at a table next to the window, as I had made a prior reservation.

Ordered the steak with poivre sauce and leek soup - oh my, both dishes were truly delicious! The steak was accompanied by warm bread, salad and frites, and I ordered a glass of red to top it off.

The set lunch came with dessert and Khoon Boon offered ice tea instead of tea…so sweet of him as it was a refreshing cool drink for a hot day.

One of my fave places for lunch, will definitely come back again and again!

The food was super bland even vegetables for the mains came like a leftover from other table (yes they give you 1/4 of a Brussels sprout)

Spending over 5000 THB per 2 people (no alcohol) and everything tastes so lifeless
