And right on top of the commons which made it extra special!

Love this half open space in Thong Lor. Located at the top floor of The Commons, it is really a beautiful outdoor space where you can drink your coffee, relax if not too busy or have some food. Good coffee and there is a dish for everyone. Very tasty but on the expensive side. Their dish with eggs and chilli oil needs more sourdough on the side: Staff is lovely and accommodating but the management has to prioritise orders better. When a customer asks for an extra side, that should be priority because they are still eating their food and need that something extra to finish it. It is ridiculous to wait more than 10/15 minutes for some extra bread.

ROAST Coffee & Eatery is one of my favorite spots for a quality breakfast with the family on weekends. The ambiance is inviting, and there’s a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for a leisurely start to the day. Their egg dishes are exceptional—perfectly cooked and beautifully presented every time. The dessert menu is also impressive; it’s hard to resist trying something new each visit! Service is friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of.

While the prices aren’t the cheapest, the quality of food more than justifies it, especially with how well the dishes are prepared. The beverages are top-notch, from fresh juices to expertly crafted coffee. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the wine selection, which doesn’t quite match the high standards of the food. Overall, though, ROAST Coffee & Eatery is a fantastic choice for breakfast and brunch in the city. Highly recommend!

Tasty food, fresh ingredient, variety choices.   staff was friendly. Great for brunch/lunch with family or friends. We ordered scallop, Roast breakfast, Roast salad, truffle pasta, burger. All was tasty. Roast is Located on the top floor of The Commons. Nice vibe.

The food here is wonderful and the atmosphere feels very high end for something so casual. I don’t know how to describe it but I like being here.

They make a mean lime soda and on days where I sat and worked on my laptop, I just kept ordering them every hour on repeat. There are a few booths to the left as you enter that have charging power outlets near the baseboard and the WiFi is quite nice from theCommons even up here on the top floor.

Great place to work and don’t miss out on a snack or two or twelve.
