The lunch here was one of the best fine dining experiences I've had. It was truly flawless. Every course was fantastic, the service was exceptional, the pacing spot on, the attention to detail superb and the pairings incredible. I also felt it was great value for money. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Fantastic meal at this French-Japanese restaurant in Paris. French food can sometimes be a bit too rich and saucy for me, but here the dishes had a great balance of allowing the ingredients to shine through while still being full of flavor.

The risotto topped with squid was a definite highlight—cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.   Another standout was the candied porcini with carpaccio roasted eggplant, which was such a unique and delicious combo.The roasted pigeon was also a standout, super tender and soft (also fun that they recommend you eat the pigeon legs with your hands).

They’ve got a great wine selection that paired really well with the meal. The place also felt casual while still being special. Overall, an awesome dining experience that I’d definitely recommend!

i particularly liked the industrial design of the restaurant. i was first greeted with endless french tomettes red tiles and a massive fennel which can host 4 people for a private meal (designed by @maybetakao), followed by the open kitchen on mezzanine floor, and the 8-metre-long wood table in the middle, not to mention the 2 Japanese Toto toilets! i was fortunate to see Chef Sota busy baking the guinea fowl in the back of the kitchen. food was spectacular, well-thought menu using seasonal produce, very reasonable price! causual ambience and great hospitality.

2nd visit within a month. The food was very good so I decided to bring a friend who is visiting Paris for lunch again, though the service wasn't top at my 1st visit but never have I thought the service at the 2nd visit was so terrible.

Food was as good as the 1st visit. Excellent. However the service was terrible.

1st: Despite I'm informing them politely (2 different staffs) that I'm a left hander, they insisted on placing the cutlery on my right hand side. I have to keep telling them I'm the left hander for all 5 courses. (This happened on my 1st visit too).

2nd: 2 of us were sitting at the middle of the communal table. A couple each on our left and right side. My water glass and wine glass (we ordered a bottle of wine) were emptied and no one refilling it for me. I didn't call them but observing the staffs walking back and forth. They refilling the water and wine for the other couples while their glasses were not emptied. They even refilled the water carafe for them but decided to ignore us.

After a good 15-20mins, I decided to stand up and talk to the chef, and the chef just directed me to the service staff (french). I asked what's the problem and he said nothing and wanted to go refill my glass before I even finished speaking. At the end he refilled my wine glass but continue to leave my water glass empty.

F&B is not only about food, but also the service and the experience. This is a serious disappointment.

At the end I managed to speak to the head chef Sota-san after I asked for him. I hope they will look into this seriously.

Excellent experience at Maison. Creative dishes where the quality and the flavour of the ingredients comes  through. A pleasure for the eye but more importantly for the palate. Highlights for me were the trout on a bed of lentils and salmon roe; lobster wrapped in cabbage. Lunch tasting menu for 145€, a lot of natural (but good) wines by the glass.
